I recently had surgery and woke up with a think (18 Fr) Foley catheter in place. After the anesthesia wore off, every time I would move to where the catheter moved in or out, I got a raging erection. I found if I manually moved it in and out that the same thing happened. On one occasion I had a climax. A catheter is passed through the urethra and the urethra passes through the prostate. Some guys find the sensation pleasurable. And I have had a lot of younger guys who did get erections when the catheter was moved and stimulated the head of the penis.
Occasionally, guys show up in the emergency room with things logged in their bladder that they have been using for auto-erotic purposes.

You are correct. I have thought about it (ordering some self-caths) but decided not to. It was so fucking intense I would really like to do it again, however. I was just wondering if anyone else had had the experience. I posted the same question on the Kinks forum. No luck there. May be because I am straight even though bi-curious and gay friendly.

What your referring to is called "sounding". Ive seen it on some porn sights. Not sure where the name originates. I really advise against doing it. Having worked in the ER for around 14 years I've seen guys come in with injuries to their urethra and prostate. Believe me. Any pleasure you get from doing it is far out weighed by the pain that a torn urethra will cause.

After all that time in the ED, I'm surprised you haven't had an encounter with the GU cart. If you haven't, be glad. Much weeping and wailing usually follows the cart.
I guess nerve distribution and pain threshold vary considerably with individuals. I was not sounded nor have I done so. This was an 18Fr Foley.

I haven't ever seen those dilators in person. Just in the sounding vids I've watched. I know the OP said he only had a foley placed. I made the reference to "sounding" since it seems similar to what he was talking about and I thought he might enjoy watching some of those vids since he didn't get much of a response in the kink forum.
