CBS 13 Episode Series Under The Dome - Stephen King

I hate this part of myself, but I just keep waiting for Junior to redeem himself. He's just so damn fine to me, I don't want him to be a complete lost cause. And I am looking forward to seeing what is the deal with Joe and Norrie.

Like I said before, I loved the book. When I first started watching this series I was beyond irritated. The series does not follow the book much at all.

For example, The Shining experienced this. The movie and the book were both great, but they were really, really different.

However, once I started to not look for similarities/differences, I started to enjoy it a lot more.

It's hard for me to catch up on this show because I can't find any full episodes online other than the current one.

Without saying the ending, I didn't want to go through a series and keep wondering what happens so I looked it up. Now I can enjoy the series while knowing the ending

Love the show. My only issue is though is how they are going to continue this beyond the first season. Or is this supposed to be a "mini-series"?

I'm the exact opposite, I hate spoiling myself (yeah yeah, there's a pun in there....).

I rather find out what happens while I watch the episode/movie. Finding out beforehand dulls the effect too much for me.

It was supposed to be a mini-series/13 episodes, but they were going to renew it for another season if it received decent ratings. Well, it received decent ratings, and now there will be a second season. I wish it was only 13 episodes where there's a definitive beginning and ending.

I'm the exact same way. A few years ago, I was trying to get my friend to watch True Blood. She watched the first episode, and then proceeded to read the wiki article explaining the whole first season. What the hell is the point of that?

Sorry to disappoint, but the ending is completely different in the series than the novel.

Also - they already decided what would happen in season 2 before they even shot the first episode. So it was never really intended as a miniseries.

Well it's just starting to get interesting for me, only ting that really kept me watching was Mike Vogel, he seems to be getting hotter with each episode.
