I have always loved Cher's honesty.
 
Cher always tells it like it is, and I looooove people like that. You know exactly where you stand, you know what she thinks about something and she isn't afraid to speak her mind. Ask and she will answer. Can't say fairer than that! :gogirl:

personally i never really understood why people can call madonna the queen.i mean yea shes done some pretty daring things.but in my opinion cher has always been better suited for the title of queen.the woman has been doing it longer.and has been through a hell of a lot more.and considering she had to break out of her sunny and cher image.i have a lot more respect her.

Pretty much exactly sums up my feelings (and I'm sure I have said something very similar before). Must admit I don't really care much for either of them - nor what they might say (have said) about each other.

Now, on the other hand, Cyndi Lauper is a very special talent - and a class act as a person. ..|
 
Cher said in the print interview that she understood where Madonna was coming from, but that she didn't like her, and said she's "too rude" and didn't need to be a "cunt", and that for her to like Madonna, she'd have to be nicer.

On the other hand, I've always read that Cher is a generous person with a heart of gold.

don't like madonna. cher's got such a distinctive voice. janet's music is ok...and mariah can sing like nobody's business!
 
i don't think i've ever given more than about 10 cumulative seconds of attention to either cher OR madonna ever in my lifetime.
