White Sox win today 7-5, sweeping a four game series (with a make-up game) over second place Twins, now up 6.5 games

very exciting times for the White Sox!

Swisher hit two home runs today, Paul Konerko also hit one

lost a brutal game tonight to the Tigers, but the Twins lost so still 6.5 up

some bad base running killed us plus Swisher forgetting that before you throw the ball to get the out at second, you need to pick the ball up first

a tough series with the Rockies of all people, 1-2 at home - still 4.5 up

hitting has been anemic and some of us cannot wait until Greg Walker (hitting coach) is relieved of his duties and we get a hitting coach who can actually coach hitting

a break to toast Jerry Manuel, a good man who is now managing the Mets

his 2000 White Sox were a thing of beauty

and a part of MLB history: in the 2000 playoffs when Baldwin was pitching, Johnson catching, and Manuel went to the mound, first time ever in the playoffs three African Americans were on the mound at the same time (plus having a black GM in Kenny Williams)

a terrible weekend -

three games in LA against the Dodgers, kind of an odd thing

then the cubs come to our place

the tension will be racketed up even higher now

after taking 2 of 3 from the Dodgers, we smashed the cubs today 10-3, and order is restored in the universe
