Chris Rock Disses Bill Clinton

I agree, Marley, Chris was hilarious. Letterman could hardly contain him. That was the best part. Letterman is so full of shit. He has great guests and then he tries to be the star. Can't wait til he quits Late Night!

Chris Rock has to be the funniest comedian around. His ability to cut to the chase on any issue with his unique humor is amazing. He nailed Bill Clinton to the wall and said what a lot of people were thinking about his lukewarm 'endorsement' of Barack Obama. :D ..| I luv it!!!!!

Despite the name of his show, Who doesn't love Chris? lol

Chris Rock is the best standup comedian around, but he didn't do anyone any good on Letterman. Clinton gave a very good and nuanced endorsement of Obama aimed at the undecided and unsure folks that Clinton has clout with. Clinton expressed great respect for John McCain and said that at the end of the day people would express a desire for change and vote for Obama. Clinton's words were not directed at the true believers that will vote for Obama, but rather at the undecided that Obama needs. Clinton's performance was brilliant and no doubt much of the audience wished he were running again.

Stupid Chris Rock then came out and stepped all over Clinton's message by ranting about how Hillary lost to a black man nobody ever heard of (talk about self deprecation) and probably drove a lot of undecided voters right back to McCain. Chris, Ludacris and Sean Combs need to shut up until the election is over.

Chris then finished up the disaster by wondering why Michael Vick is in jail for torturing dogs when Sarah Palin kills moose. That's not funny, it is repulsive and smacks of racism.

Another great example of Obama's supporters being Obama's worst enemies.

Except for the Chris Rock love-fest at the beginning, I agree completely. Bill Clinton is bringing-back the voters Obama needs, then Obama supporters have to go and piss 'em off again. Excellent post, Iman!

I agree good post, although one thing your missing.

Whenever Chris does these things, it's either the sort of racial humor that people find so funny, or it's some kind of satire(I think, don't watch enough to really know, or honestly care. Just know he's a funny comedian)

^Guess I should elaborate, apparently it's okay to grossly mistreat and abuse an animal as long as someone is going to eat it later on, and it's okay to kill an animal if it looks pretty in your living room. I'm not a fan of any of the above, but if one animal-murderer is punished, shouldn't they all be?

So, if Sarah Palin is not punished, neither should Michael Vick?

Michael Vick, who was one of my favorite QB's, used the dogs natural desire to please it's master and used that trust to teach the dogs to fight, kill, maim and suffer in fights staged for sport and money. Vick apparently also enjoyed punishing these animals by torturing them to death through drowning and electrocution.

Sarah Palin shot a moose and made mooseburgers.

The only parallel between the two that I see is that the animals died and the death of the animal is not the issue, it is the motive and manner of death.

*sigh* Don't pull that bullshit marley.

Not all of us are vegetarians or vegans. And there is absolutely nothing wrong with hunting your own meat(as long as it is within legal boundaries), and there is absolutely nothing wrong with eating meat.

You can't compare hunting and eating a wild animal to training and forcing domesticated animals to fight and kill each other.

That's just fucked up.
