I could entertain that thought if Mariah could still sing these days. She used to be a great singer, and at least wrote great lyrics, but the reason I prefer Christina to her is because her voice is more versatile. For me, Mariah is Beyonce with better range and a thicker voice. Boring.

This is funny to me.

They really are so different and they make such different music. It is really insane to compare them.

It would be like comparing Madonna to Barbara Striesand.

I am still rooting for Brit! Christinas album is great and I love it. I try not to be a hater!

Christina is more like both Barbra and Madonna than Britney is or ever will be.

None of the videos you posted were as unique or risky as the four I posted. At all, man...

Cry Me A River is the only one that even remotely holds a candle.

Seriously, Baby One More Time? She's dancing around in a school...okaaay?

The point is that Christina is known for taking risks. Meanwhile Britney plays it safe.

I'm really not sure what world you're living in, but artistically, Christina has been praised time and time again for taking risks. Which is why she's often compared to Madonna. The Houston Chronicle just raved about her tour and said "If Madonna is still the mother of reinvention, Christina Aguilera is the prodigal daughter." If you don't know what risks she's taken, you must've not watched the videos I posted because like I said, I dare you to find pop artists that make videos like Fighter and Hurt.



Britney makes music to make hits, while Christina makes music to make good music. She doesn't just go to the producer of the moment--hit makers or beatmakers to get her music. You won't see her going to the Neptunes or Timabaland so she can hide her thin plastic voice behind their "hot beats". The reality is that Britney could be any random beautiful young girl off the street with rhythm.

Please.... Christina's videos are nothing special. Madonna made very similar ones. There isnt anything unique about them.
