I have a really good friend who I've known for several years, and just recently we have started dating. We had the discussion a couple of weeks ago about dating exclusively and both agreed that was the way we wanted to go.
He's only relatively new to the gay world, and so I'm being very careful about not rushing things or pushing him too fast and letting him take the lead on how fast things move (as difficult as that can be sometimes!)
With that in mind, obviously it's Christmas next week and I'm in the position of not sure what to buy him?
I don't want to get anything too "serious" in case it scares him or is too intense and freaks him out, but at the same time want to get him something that shows that he does mean a lot to me. He has already mentioned that he has been shopping for a present for me so the idea of gifts doesn't concern him.
Does anybody have any advice of how not to scare him?
