I'm definitely going to buy Gwen's cd sometime this week but I'm not too sure about Ciara's. I got her Goodies cd and really liked it. Her new song is kinda cool.
 
I like Ciara but I kinda feel like she might be a flash in the pan. Hopefully she can keep putting out hot music though.

Plus I harbor a tiny bit of bitterness towards her since some people are trying to call her the new Baby Girl.

No one can replace Aaliyah. :(

No shit me too! When I first saw her new video I was kinda shocked. She totally stole Aaliyah's hair (dark long & wavy) plus her old school outfit (baggy pants, large jacket with the hoodie & tight cut off shirt). Ciara can dance her ass off she's amazing in that department but no one will ever replace Baby Girl.
 
Well, isn't she basically under Missy's wing? I feel like if anything, the planning is all Missy...which would make it all a bit too weird...

Even though Ciara is very man-ish I don't think she'd go lezzie with Missy.
Missy & Tweet on the other hand.......hmmm.......
 
I gotta give a listen to it before I buy it. Her first cd was awesome but she released the wrong songs, except Goodies and 1, 2 Step.
 
I like Ciara's first album. I only heard the second album once, halfway. I am not too thrilled about this album. I am so disappointed, coz I like her.
 
I like her new album especially the song, "My Love". She is growing and "evolving" as a performer (because we all know she still can barely sing above 2 octaves).

Also this pictures in Giant Magazine is very Aaliyah-esque:

As much as I didn't like her at first, she is now doing Aaliyah's legacy much justice. Aaliyah would be proud. However, I can tell by the "Get Up" video that Ciara is aiming more towards the legacy of Janet than Aaliyah at this point.
