is it alright to do this, or can some damage be done? i know it'll hurt like a bitch, but that's not the issue here. i've seen other types of clips but on the actual head of the dick in porn, but never a clothes pin. just wondering if it's safe to do.
 
uh... I don't know if there was ever a specific study to check haha. If I had to venture an educated guess, I would say that for short periods of time it wouldn't be harmful. But I wouldn't leave it on for hours or anything as you might kill the tissue from lack of blood supply. Again, just a guess.
 
i doubt it's safe, you are destroying tissue that multiplies very slowly

A clothespin generates too much tension. Don't use it.

There are larger sized nipple clamps that can be used for this purpose. You want to look for clamps that have a set screw on them. In the picture below, note that there is a screw on the side. This screw is used to adjust how far the clamp can close. Notice on the right side of the picture that the ends of the clamp are being held apart by the screw whereas the ones on the left side are allowed to close This set screw prevents the clamp from being too tight and cutting off the blood supply. The rubber tips also prevent the skin from being cut or damaged by the clip.

thanks a lot, man! do you know what kind of clips they use in the dreamboybondage videos? they're brightly colored..i would like to buy them.
 
I can't tell from the size of the pictures but it looks like the kitchen sealing clips used to close up bags of chips.

The clue is the color- usually the devices that are made for B&D are black and silver in color.

I asked someone that is into CBT about them and he agreed that they are probably bag clips. He also said that he would worry that they would create too much pressure on the skin and could damage it.

It should be okay as long as you don't use it for more than 20 minutes or so.
