Coffee Maker Obsession

OK - this really looks weird to me.

Lelit Bianca is the espresso machine.
Weber Workshops EG1 for the grinder, Weber Workshops Moonraker for his distribution tool, and Weber Workshops Bean Cellar for the espresso bean dosing tubes.


Each component seems to have it's own video - even the coffee filter!

I used a cafetière (or French press) to make coffee. Even I can manage the technology involved.

Would much prefer making coffee the old fashioned wat, although those kettles I never really got the hang of shouldn't necessarily come back.

And the tea-purse. Who has that today? Two of my grandparents had.

Just the coffee maker used in that video must be around €3,000. What's next - grow your own coffee plants in the garden?

I have a Cuisinart grind and brew unit. The beans are ground and then brewed. Makes a great cup.

I have worked in Healthcare 50+ years and drank the break room industrial pot or my small Mr. Coffee pot with filter at home. Many cups per day.

Now I have an espresso and every mug is rich and delicious (Bustelo) with a creamy froth & 1 tsp sugar. I no longer use creamer with HFCS sweetener & chemically flavored. Love it!

Nespresso machines come in different types by different manufacturers.

The Melitta pot holds ten cups. We use President's Choice coffee. Makes a perfect cup. Althugh we don't drink coffee any more either.

A Washington State Ferry had a coffee maker go down, so they served Nescafe.
After all the years I'd forgotten how good this stuff truly is.
