One of the great pleasures of being a Jubber is the friends you make here and the connections that you discover as you communicate with people.

When I first joined, one of the first people to reach out to me was a Jubber named LovesLevis. Over the course of time, he changed his JUB name to his own, Bradlee!

Brad and I, through our postings discovered that we both grew up in the same town (where I still live), and that we attended the same high school (only four years apart). We shared similar Rochester stories, and kept up with each other. We also shared mutual JUB friends like Ruby, (Sir Ron's wise and wonderful sister from Germany).

A couple of years ago, he PMmed me that he was coming to Rochester for a visit, and wanted to meet for coffee. So we did. Brad was the first Jubber I had met in the flesh, and we hit it off famously.

Bradlee has been in Rochester this week, and we once again met for coffee this morning! We sat outside on this sunny, comfortable morning and spent almost two hours catching up with eachother. He was looking handsome as ever, well rested and relaxed.

We discussed our lives, shared a few old memories, talked about JUB, and enjoyed a few laughs.

And we agreed to get together once again on his next visit.
Bradlee and I probably wouldn't have ever met had it not been for JUB. And to discover that we had common experiences was just icing on the cake.

That is why I still believe in the strength of the JUB online community.
