I haven't been very active lately but Hoops is on!.

Did anyone watch the UNC vs Ohio state game? The buckeyes almost made a late comeback. good game

I believe Syracuse's Defense is going to give UNC headaches

Ohio state vs Cal.
Cal is so overrated. Ohio state should win this one
 
Don't really know how closely I'll follow this year, but our team is supposed to be good (you know how that can go!). My boyfriend detests basketball, so I have to really wheedle to see whole games, or just watch in pieces. If I'm in the right zone, it's mesmerizing.

That was a cool game last night, and the near comeback was really interesting. And, I think the NC blue uniform is super-hott.
 
Syracuse beat North carolina today. UNC is rebuilding and it shows they are young. This year's championship is up for grabs, no clear favorite. It wil lbe fun

One thing is for sure, The Pac 10 is down this year....
 
The 'Cuse looked really good. They were supposedly only the 6th best team in the Big East. I suspect that ranking will change. I tend to like UNC if for no other reason than to keep a bootheel on Duke. I hope they fair better in the ACC games.

There are a couple teams that are probably a notch above the rest - Kansas and Memphis are two. It really depends on how many upperclassmen returned.

Memphis surprised me with that close game vs Kansas. New coach, new players. they wil lbe good. Kansas is good as usual. Syracuse is actually better this year than last year and will be top 15 when the new rankings come out on Monday.

Dayton is one strong mid major, currently #18 and beat Ga tech #21 on thursday

Kentucky is showing me they are for real. John Wall is clutch. They beat UConn last night in a great game that came down to the last minute.
Kansas, Kentucky, Mi state are mi picks for the final four so far.
 
Yeah, Wall is the real deal. IMO, being a UK fan myself, UK will slip up and just have one of those games where they will be off and be like WTF..lol, but we're enjoying the ride here in Lexington...wooo hooo! Go Cats!

Hope you go all the way, I would take UK over Kansas any day. The SEC is not as strong as theACC or Big East so UK , in my iopinion, will win it. Florida and Tenn are good but UK has talent and is well coached.

Syracuse is another team that is rising. That Wes Johnson guy is great and they are deep.
 
Kensucky should enjoy those wins now - with Calislimi at the helm they will be vacated soon enough.

Well Kentucky has to deal with losing Wall this year from what I have heard he is going pro. but they are recruiting well. UNC has a sick class coming in.
 
I wish Kansas would have been #1 last year when they came to East Lansing. I guess I'll settle for beating them twice in one season. Hopefully the Spartans will get their shit together and start winning some actual games.

How about UK and Louisville at UK today?
Crazy game with all those fouls and technicals and shit.

I'm not sure about the rest of you UK fans, but I'm not a fan of Cousins at all.
Can't stand the way he plays. I can understand being a strong defender, but it seems like everytime he runs down the floor he's trying to pick a fight. Like today when they were going for the loose ball right after the tip.

Texas #1 team, lost twice this week, earlier to K-state and yesterday to Uconn.

Anyone can win it this year, Kansas, Kentucky etc. I think syracuse is a tough team when they bring it, have post presence and good shooters. Purdue lost 3 in a row. And the PAc 10 is wide open. anyone can win it there.

Goergetown vs Syracuse tomorrow. should be interesting game, one plays zone defense while the cuse is man to man defense.
 
Conference tournament are on and MArch Madness is around the corner.

Did we have a JUB March Madness pool at all before?
