congratulations. there can be negative reactions. gays need to know they may lose people by being honest about themselves. but, maybe they had been seeing someone other than the actual person who rejected them. anyway, don't you feel just GREAT?

What a great success story!!! Thanks for sharing. And yes, there is life outside of the closet... sometimes the road out is bumpier than others, but regardless, life goes on. I'm so happy that things have gone so well for you!

Congratulations!

I must have missed your post about the boss and his GF wanting you to be part of their sexual fantasy

Congrats Ozzyk6 on the coming out, I envy you now :). Well I envy any gay/lesbian person who comes out.

I really wish I could come out to my friends and family. But knowing how most of them are, it wouldn't be a good idea. Even though they should like me for who I am and not what I am, not like its a bad thing. I really wish I could find the strength, but I feel sometime in the future that I will come out to them as I am growing weary of holding this secret away.

Congratulations! What a nice story.

You have some amazing friends. :)

tisk, tisk, I remember it. Quite interesting really... and entertaining.

while a guys life might change 180 degrees or more it's a great feeling to be out. I would like to believe that to be the same wether you are 19 or 59

Welcome to "OUT LAND" new word

Just read this post today. Congratulations! When I came out to friends, I noticed we became closer, too. Feels good, eh?

As for getting into a relationship, just go at your own pace. After all, it's not a race. Enjoy the freedom...though not too much...hahaha

I can understand this viewpoint for family. After all, you can't really change who your (biological) family is. However, for your friends, I think you have to ask yourself if it's worth having friends who would reject you over being gay. Any good friend who's worth a damn will stick with you even if they have reservations about gay people. You can always make new friends who accept you for who you are.

Congrats Ozzy!!!

Its an amazing story...truly inspiring...just dont underestimate yourself here in the process. Your friends always saw the real you, and all the good things that you possess...being gay was just another part of you to them. The real friend you always were was what mattered most to them...Your friends seem to be a good judge of character mate!

Congrats again!

Good for you dude, I know for me it was the best thing I have ever done for myself
Coming out changes EVERYTHING. your whole life becomes so much better.
No more acting or pretending, free to be who you are. Good luck!
