I met a guy online a while ago, who I've been talking to on and off now. He lives in the city I'm from and I haven't been back to meet him yet. We're both REALLY physically and sexually attracted to each other and we have amazing email/AIM conversations about sex. I'll probably be going to meet him soon and we're most definitely going to stay in and have sex the whole weekend. He really wants me to cum in him, and I want to try it. I actually don't have a lot of experience with men yet, but anybody I've been with I most certainly use protection. I want to make this happen with this boy and a big part of it is his desire for me to bareback him. I'm personally clean, and he looks fairly clean cut and decent. He said he gets tested. Is this a situation I want to be getting myself into?

Short answer: no.

Long answer: hell no.

Consider. You haven't even met in person yet, and he wants you to bareback him. Chances are decent that you ain't the first one he's asked to do this. This puts him into a majorly high-risk category. He says he's clean. Well, if he wasn't, but wanted to get barebacked anyway, wouldn't he just lie? I've got two friends who are HIV+. Guess what - both caught it from somebody they were "pretty sure" was clean.

Either insist on condoms all weekend long (and bring them with you, damnit), or pass. Or, you know, just cross your fingers and hope for the best. Which I'm kinda guessing would be the most likely scenario.

AND MAKE HIM WEAR ONE TOO!!!!

And make sure either you put it on him or you see him putting it on. Seems like good advice I saw somewhere... I just forgot if I saw that advice in the forums or another site lol

Well, he said the idea was for the OP to bareback the other guy. But yeah, in case things get switched around...

Quick question, can you get HIV from topping a pos bottom?
I've always wondered...

Yes. Although the risk is apparently much greater from bottoming for a positive top.

It's about 8 times greater risk, but both risk levels are significant.

Still HIV isn't even the only risk. Think about it. The first people who got AIDS didn't even know they had HIV because no one knew it existed. People having sex, and especially anal sex (because of higher risk of semen coming into contact with blood), makes new STI's evolve all the time. What if one of you has some new disease that's even worse than HIV? Condoms are the best all purpose tool for protecting yourselves.

If a guy wanted me to do that I would have to see a ring on my finger, because as MoltenRock said you have to trust each other with your lives.
