Hey Guys I got my new computer today! :-D but I dont have a AOL 9.0VR cd, is there any other way I can connect it to the internet so I can download the software? I tried the Connect to the Internet wizard but its not working for me... Any help would be great!

I have Roadrunner through my cable company and that is an automatic connection without need to login. Just launch browser and go.

Is this new computer a laptop? Another option you have is to take it to one of those places that offer free WiFi (like Panera Bread) and use the free wireless internet connection to launch IE and download your software. I would think FSU would have it too but not sure.

Good luck!

Its a DELL XPS 410, I have a laptop and my ISP is AOL, I live to far out for DSL, Although I am looking into getting DSL Via Satellite if I can find one thats right for me.

Nah it doesnt have any ISP's on it already. I had it custom built so maybe thats why it wasnt added? I dunno... Im catching H$LL trying to find a way to get it connected.

You could get the latest version of AOL on cdrom for free by checking to see if your local post office has them to give away. I've also seen the discs for free in grocery stores too.

you will need a user name and password but you should be ablr to connect through windows

start>connect to(in the right menu)>setup connection>select dial up and follow the wizard
