Constipation.How long to I have to wait? to get ridof it.

In common constipation, the stool is hard, difficult, and painful to pass.Usually, there is an infrequent urge to void. Straining to pass stool may cause hemorrhoids. In later stages of constipation, the abdomen may become distended and diffusely tender and cramp, occasionally with enhanced bowel sounds.

The definition of constipation includes the following:[1]

* infrequent bowel movements (typically three times or fewer per week)
* difficulty during defecation (straining during more than 25% of bowel movements or a subjective sensation of hard stools), or
* the sensation of incomplete bowel evacuation.

Severe cases ("fecal impaction") may feature symptoms of bowel obstruction (vomiting, very tender abdomen) and "paradoxical diarrhea", where soft stool from the small intestine bypasses the impacted matter in the colon.

I have all these symptons and I had constipation about 4 days I hate the feeling,and when I try to strain it feels like there bowel movements, but there is no bowel's coming out. And when they do they hurt like hell coming out I have tryed exlax and something else but, it takes a while a question or 2.

How can I go with out hurting me?
How Can I make them soft ,(organiclly) I heard eat red grapes,warm water. any suggestions?

If it's been 4 days already, I honestly think you're past trying to fix things on your own.

Go see a doctor, or possibly check into an emergency room if you can't see a doctor soon enough.
 
Hard to say I don't know if you need to go to an ER necessary yet, I can't say either way. But in the future to avoid constipation the things to do: Drink a lot of water, eat more fiberous foods (whole grains, fruit, vegetables) and not tons of sugar and fast food and candy. Stay active, do at least some sort of cardio walking. Eat slower and sitting down. There's much more you can do, but that should at least create somewhat decent BMs

It's probably mostly down to your diet. Eat plenty of fruit and vegetables, other foods which are high in fibre (eg Kellogg's All Bran), brown/wholemeal/granary bread rather than white, drink enough fluids and keep reasonably active and you should see an improvement.

You can buy laxatives and stool softeners from a Pharmacist, but they shouldn't really be necessary.

Obviously, if this is a regular problem, you should seek proper medical advice.

I'm 46 I am also tpe 2 Diabetic,also have Gout ,Suppose to check my blood but, Ijust went to the dr to get my blood check and I will go from there. They told me to get of the pop,and I have been drinking beer lately not much though, about 8 beers on the week end. It's hard to get of the pop Pepsi the quarts 2 3 or 4 times aday.Any suggestions about my diet or anything else on diabties I am willing to learn more things, and I do excerisize every other day.
 
Eat a nice tossed salad each day - lots of lettuce, other greens, and tomatoes - maybe a small bowl of cereal at night for a snack - do it each day and that should keep you regular. I do and I am... (*8*)
