"K7" has appeared in my system tray, bottom right corner...why?
All I can find out is that it has replaced the Cpuidle icon.

Hi 300148.

Yes we're all fine here.

How are you?

That's nice.

:confused:OOPS! Someone's having a bad day....or an even worse "day after".:-({|=
Anyways, cheer up and HAPPY THANKSGIVING tomorrow (Canada).(!)(*8*)
Sarcasm really doesn't become you.

Well, even with manners put aside, let me gently point you towards this thread.
Your "question" is as short as meaningless. We aren't blessed with the gift of scrying.

scrying???

^^^^^^^ "as short as meaningless"

...should I just Google this or just read the suggested
"How to ask intelligent questions" or some such?
:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes: :=D::=D:

I should read Corny's link before Googling as well ;)

Like most (I believe) of the posters here, I come for answers, not referrals to tomes that leave us more confused than ever.
If you can't (or don't want to) provide an answer, don't reply to a post.
Begorra, Noelie, glad you've returned. ..|
For a fellow "shamrock" and all Jubbers, I leave a large "Thank You" and a little Irish wish>>>
“May the road rise up to meet you, may the wind be ever at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face and the rain fall softly on your fields. And until we meet again(on JUB?), May God hold you in the hollow of his hand.”

Well, the hungry masses have arrived, the "bird" is ready. and I've poured my first Bailey's for the evening. All's good with the world.:gogirl:
And yes, I think "Smilies" spruce up a post!

Top o' the Thanksgiving mornin'

Alright folks... lets put aside the snide comments. Cut the guy some slack. He is right noncomputer folks don't necessarily know what they need to say to get help. everyone has a bad day too ;)

so...300148, we need more to go on.

1. have you recently installed any new hardware or software?
2. what operating system are you using (windows [and which edition, XP, Vista, etc), Macintosh, Linux etc)
3. what is the make and model (like Dell Dimension 1500, etc. ) of your computer (if you have it, some folks have home made computers so that wont be applicable).
4. when did you first notice this new icon?
5. have you tried anything yet to get rid of it, such as doing a "system restore" to the day before you noticed the icon?

thanks

Fine. But it doesn't help if you throw a question at us, without any background info or any clues that could help us answer it. Apparently noelie did know the program that you were talking about (or he took the time to google for it, something that you should have done in advance). If you don't even take the effort to explain us your question, why should we care about trying to solve your problem? We don't have a magical crystal ball that can tell us what the heck your are talking about. People offer their free time to help people here, if you just want to unload a problem at someone else without needing to think about it - go to a computer shop and pay them for it.
If you are willing to work with, explore and solve your problem - you are welcome here.
