Hey guys im looking to be scared senseless or even creeped out by a movie does anyone know any good creepy/scary english movies?? I mean really scary not like Saw, Halloween etc. Thanks! :D

Well I was watching "The Box" last night

And I had to turn it off after 40 minutes

For some reason, absolutely nothing happened in the movie and I was freaked the FUCK out.

I don't know if it was the horrid soundtrack or the pace/suspension of that damn box but that movie was erie as hell.

Paranormal Activity is creepy, original exorcist always gets people, The Fourth Kind has some really disturbing and horrifying scenes.

Then there are the less mainstream ones, God knows I have not seen any of those...

Suspiria and the Changeling (not the Angelina version)

Suspiria had a great soundtrack and was quite trippy

The Changeling is the only movie to ever really creep me out

^^^^

Wtf do you mean "days"?

I could not sleep for literally, I counted, two and a half weeks.

U sir, are made of steel.

Stephen King's It >> That clown, Pennywise, was just friggin creepy. I think Tim Curry got into his roll a little too well. I, as a 27 year old grown man, still have the occasional nightmare about him. YYEEEESSSHHHH!

Tales From The Hood >> Samuel L Jackson: Another villan who get a bit too into character (watch the ending) And those little porcelain dolls that came to life... Those give me the creeps, too.

I personally am more scared by movies where the storyline can actually happen in real life as opposed to monsters and ghosts (although those are good too). Two really creepy ones are Vacancy and The strangers

.

I recently watched that movie again and I think based on how horrible and cheesy the effects were made it more humorous than scary to me. But Pennywise is for sure a very creepy character, scared the crap out of me when I was a kid.

Agreed!

Really? Maybe I've seen too many horror films. It didn't scare me at all. The last few minutes were creepy, though.

I would have to agree. I was VERY disappointed with Paranormal activity. 3/4 of the movie was just noise in the hallway and around the house. I didn't find it scary in the slightest

Texas Chainsaw Massacre the original one is really good! There are still parts of the movie I can't watch!

^ The tv version was excellent.

Rosemary's Baby
Alien
Jacob's Ladder
The Ring

Silent Hill

I cannot watch it in day light it freaks me out that much and it gives me bathroom issues lol.

The Strangers freaked me out as did Long Time Dead. I love those that reduce the gore and mess with your head.
