Hey Guys,

In recent months, I've seen alot of father/son stuff and really don't know what to make of it. One of the posts mentioned about showering or being lathered up by Dad. I know parents do normal stuff with their kids when they are young and it's not abnromal to have bathed or dressed with our parents. However some of the posts are freaky and imply some sort of adult epiphany as to motive when all these incidents were perfectly normal. I guess I just don't understand why there are so many questions regarding "what Dad did or said". Not to censor anyone because I love reading JUB threads. However, I don't understand what is the purpose of these threads or the thoughts they are intended to envoke? Anyone want to piggyback on my thoughts?
 
Well coming from a guy who likes older men, I can safely say that while I like older men I WOULD NEVER fantasize about doing anything with my own father because that's fucking gross. I think most of the talk that goes on about adult/youth stuff is just fantasy stuff and the majority of the time it's younger guys fantasizing about older guys, very rarely do i see threads that older guys start about wanting to be with a drastically younger guy.

I know most of this stuff is fantasy but what really interests me is the motivation. I would be very grateful if some of the younger guys (or the older ones who were into daddies when they were younger) could explain to me what the attraction is. Do you have any idea what the appeal is? If it's not connected to your own fathers what is it connected to? Does it have something to do with having had your first (or early) experience with someone much older like a neighbor or uncle?

If you could refer me to any scholarly work on this I would also be grateful.

I am an "older" 46 year old in Canada and I have always been attracted to guys 18-23ish. I was attracted to that age group when I came out when I was 17 and am still attracted to them now. Answering why is like answering why some guys prefer blondes or dark hair, cut or uncut etc., there is no answer.
I will add...my younger brother, 44, has been with his bf for 17 years and his bf retired at age 65 two years ago! I am single :( , but looking.
 
Older guys do it for me too. Being 21 I don't really look at other guys my age but always wind up with them. Maybe one day I'll hook up with an older guy who knows what he's doing and can make my jock body want more and more.;)
 
maybe its just me but i think guys who are into "daddy" thing have a latent thing for dad-son stuff, otherwise why refer to your lovers as "daddies" and being turned on by father figures? (not that there's wrong with it...)
