I can't stop listening to his music!! During some of his songs I can't help but sit, close my eyes, and listen to the brilliant melodies that he (and Lisa Hannigan) are capable of producing.

Utter brilliance!!! :D

His music is often lush, fragile, haunting, exquisite, whimsical, and heartbreakingly beautiful. When I listen to 9 Crimes, I always have to listen to it several times in a row.

I've been listening to him since 2003's "O."

I bought his new one, "9 Lives" earlier this year. I saw the title song made the Billboard Top 100 Pop Songs (NOT the Hot 100) and thought for a moment there he might get some recognition/ acknowledgement but sadly I'm afraid he's gonna slip through the cracks (hi, Michelle Shocked, Ron Sexsmith, The Veronicas, etc.).

He's great, I love how his music has a very raw and expressive feeling to it. He's also not afraid of doing what he wants (like screaming "fuck you" about a thousand times during Rootless Tree, and it's not just for the shock factor)

My favourite songs are; Amie, Rootless Tree and Woman Like a Man (The way he uses his voice in this one is great).

...and his incredible sexiness doesn't hurt anything either ;)
