Anyone else getting kicked of of JUB several times each night?

I keep getting booted out with the message saying that 'the website cannot be found' or something like that?

am I the only one?

this has been happening for about a month.

I hate it. :mad::mad::mad:

Re: damned tired of this

Nope. I did not even realize that JUBBERS were on this late at night.

YAY THIS IS LIKE A LITTLE DESERTED TOWN WITH JUST A FEW PEOPLE.

Might be your connection. Or I'm not sure. I haven't been coming on JUB as much as I used to. I'm not so much a JUB addict anymore.

Ask Keth or some admin guy person what's up. They probably know.

Re: damned tired of this

Could be a browser problem. Which one do you use? If its IE, download FireFox or Opera or Safari and try coming on here with one of those. If the problem still happens then it could be a problem with your internet service provider. I am able to get on with no problems anytime of the day or night.

Re: damned tired of this

Yes, it's happened to me, but I just blamed it on IE acting up.

Re: damned tired of this

I went through several weeks of it. Either the website couldn't be found or connecting to it would 'time out'.

Touch wood, but it hasn't happened for the past few weeks.

I found my old post about it (from June 10). http://www.justusboys.com/forum/showthread.php?t=218521

These are the error messages I would get:

no problem here at all. and i just checked - jub servers aren't even stressed right now. did you try to reset your internet connection? (restart the router, or just dial in again)

Seth told me the same thing when I posted about it. There were no problems with JUB. Resetting or even rebooting wouldn't always help, either. Neither did logging off and logging on again, deleting cookies or emptying the cache.

It could happen from one click of the mouse to the next. One instant, it would be working fine and, the next, I couldn't connect. Sometimes it would stay off for hours and others for only a few minutes.

Like I said, though, it seems to have corrected itself and I haven't had a problem with it for a few weeks.

Re: damned tired of this

I had the same problem about then. A week or so ago, Firefox was having some sort of connection glitch. I got an e-mail from them that said it was a minor problem that could take a day or so to fix. Sure enough, about 18 hours later...problem solved.

I thought it might be Firefox as well, but the same thing happened with IE (which I never use unless I absolutely must).

Re: damned tired of this

then it appears to be a routing problem from your isp. try to run traceroute a few times to justusboys.com. i am moving this to the tech forum now, maybe we can find more about this phenomenon.

I recently had the same problem. It occurred in a random fashion sometimes after a short time. Going to my ISPs help line it turned out to be my broadband Router. It was only 18 months old but I had to buy another one since the warranty was only for one year! No problems since.
One way of checking if it is your Router is to leave it permanently connected to line but not connected to any site. If it looses synch after being connected for sometime its probably the Router causing the problem.
