OK everyone, I'm worn out with constant news alerts about gunshots on the freeways of Western Washington in the Seattle/Tacoma area.
Seems like every week someone is firing a gun, or flashing a gun, in freeway traffic.

Now, people are upset because the Washington State Patrol says their hands are tied because prosecutors have insufficient evidence to make a positive suspect I.D.

This is embarrassing, I have WDOT feed on my phone for I-5 shooting alerts at any moment.
Most people check the weather forecast before starting a commute - not where I live.

And with the propensity of the goon squad to shut entire interstates down for hours, it must be insane.

Whilst driving home yesterday afternoon I saw a dead body in the road. Specifically, a rather squashed Grey Squirrel. That's about as bad as it gets around here.

WSDOT used to post roadkill tweets as an act of community.
Now, as the holidays approach, locals have to be honest with family who want to visit. Personally, I feel safer leaving town (after making it to the airport).
