I just read this on another post and it is really sad. Danny Saradon from Bel Ami and other sites passed away in his sleep. I am attaching the article for everyone to see.
'From Australia came word of a tragedy that effects all members of this
Group. We have lost one of our own, Danny Saradon.
Danny is known to us from the great number of pictures he posted to
several groups, and for the two groups he owned and operated. He
brought a great amount of enjoyment to us through his high standards,
and this we will not forget.
Danny, just 19 years old, passed away in his sleep about 0230 Wednesday
morning, the 21st. The report lists an Arterial Embolism in his left
leg, and states that Danny would not have been aware of what was
happening. He was upbeat in his last message to me, was on a full-time
schedule at the university, and moving ahead in his life. All this
makes the tragedy even harder to understand.
Danny was no stranger to tragedy. He lost his parents in a vehicle
accident when he was 14, and many of us will remember that he lost a
very good friend last November. That friend, Zach, had a brain tumor
and was given only until early this year. Danny put much of his life on
hold, including his studies and groups, to give Zach the opportunity to
experience all he could, and was devastated when Zach died prematurely
of an embolism in his neck, while sleeping. Curiously much the same
condition has now taken Danny. Zach's brother Todd, and their parents,
bonded with Danny to help each other, and it was Todd who found Danny,
and who is now crushed by the loss of, in effect, two brothers in about
4 months.
Danny was an only child, and with the loss of his parents, he had only
one relative left, the man known to all of us as Merc Man, and whom
Danny deeply loved and respected as his guardian, friend, mentor, and
more. And I am sure Merc Man thought of Danny with all the love and
concern of a real parent.
I have exchanged numerous messages with Danny over the past year. He
was very open and confident about his feelings. He told me about an
educational project he participated in a couple months ago. His studies
centered on the early history of Australia, and the assignment was to
spend a week without any modern conveniences of any kind. He was to
write an essay on the experience, and promised me a copy, but that is
not to be now. I will remember, however, the three words he used in a
message to me on the topic "Never, ever, again". He was a man of the
21st century, not the 18th and 19th.
From the United Kingdom, I have heard from Danny's very good friend
Ryen, co-owner in Danny's groups, and an avid poster to other groups.
He remembers Danny as "So shy, so loving, so caring", and he has
provided a music file of a song Danny loved: It is the Eva Cassidy
version of Over The Rainbow.
