In this, the cold world we live in today, many things have changed since just a few decades ago. Home slaves have been made legal in the United States and Europe, although the word "slave" has since been outlawed and are now referred to as "Obedients".

An Obedient can come to this alternative life on a voluntary basis, entered into the system by legal parents after the age of seventeen, or served as punishment by the legal courts. The obedience act was passed ten years ago and since crimes are down, literacy amongst students of all ages is up and the homeless numbers have dwindled down dramatically. As with every motion passed anywhere there are those who claim the obedience act to be inhuman or immoral but none have have succeeded in changing the minds of America.

I recently graduated from high school with honers and a free pass to any college of my choosing, in the midst of deciding which school I would attend my father passed and in his will he stated that his entirety of his company and his financial assets were to be left to his only son. Well the only son he considered worthy of his empire and who he felt could continue to to take the family name to new heights.

My older brother, who I will not waste too much energy thinking about, left our lives to pursue his music career after our father threatened to enroll him into the obedience program if he did not attend college. It was regrettable to know that not much would come of my sibling, however I did not want a life full of limits. Having been one of the four who created the obedience program, my father Mr. Andrew Stone knew that there was a financial system to be created along with the program. So without any hesitation he created "Stone Obedience Attire" the highest quality uniform and accessory shop in the U.S., providing everything a family needs to properly train and provide for their obedient.

Naturally the company boomed and made my father extremely wealthy. I could understand how he wanted his sons to be the best in school so we could be the best at our lives. Especially after going through his financial statements and seeing how much my father had stored away and even set aside for me and my brother. I guess he was hopeful he would come back and take his proper place in the world.

"Sir, we're here." My driver brought me from my thoughts.

"Thank you Benson, keep the car running this shouldn't take too long."

"Yes sir."

I opened the car door and swiftly stepped out, a leather satchel in my hand. I closed the door and started up the rocky drive way that led to the door. Before I made it half up the way the door opened and he stepped out as beautiful as I remember.

"Holy shit, Coyote is that you?"

"Yeah it is. How are you?" I watched his eyes dart from my suit to my car to the satchel in my hand.
"Uhh... fine I guess, obviously not as well as you are." He said with a nervous chuckle.

"Don't give me to much credit, most of this is inherited and previously earned." I smiled offering him comfort.

After we settled inside his house and he served me a glass of warm tap water I started my business.

"I'm sure you're wondering why I have shown up here today and rightfully so." I said unbuttoning my jacket.

"Not so much that you've shown up but how, what's with the car? the suit? The you I remember hated suits and dared never to touch them." He smiled and I felt that rush I hadn't felt since I saw it last.
"Well as it turns out my father was the founder of the Stone Obidiance Attire company." His eyes widened at my words.

"So you mean your dad is like the owner of the whole company? Like all of it?"
"In its entirety. Well unfortunately about three months ago my father passed away and I have been running things since."

"How old are you? Aren't you like eighteen? Can you run a company that big at eighteen?"
"As it turns out yes, you can."

He looked at me searching for what I could only assume was a falter, a sign that what I was saying was a colossal joke of some kind.

"So what is it that you want with me?"

I squared my eyes with his and spoke gently.

"From what I can see here your life hasn't much improved since our childhood and I don't mean that as an insult but I know how it sounds. I would like to offer you a chance to not only upgrade your way of life but in the process also diminishing any and all of your responsibilities as an adult."

"How could you do that for me or why even?" He asked looking genuinely confused.

"Well one of the conditions of my inheritance was that I was to keep an Obidiant of my own to display my support of not only my company but also for the Obidiance movement. That being said I would like to offer you this position, as my permanent Obidiant."

His breathing slowly grew heavy and his eyes shifted to the satchel by my side.

"Oh yes and to inform you you should choose this satchel containing seventy-five thousand dollars is yours, no strings attached."

He leaned back against the chair he was sitting in. "Can I ask you two questions?"

"You may." I answered.

"The money is it dirty? Do I have to worry about having it?"

"No, not at all, the money is completely legit. Your second question?" He looked at my eyes and glued them in place.

"Why haven't you called me by my name?" I smiled.

"Because I already consider you as mine to not address directly."

I could tell my words hit something inside him, a tear fell from his left eye.

Once again I offered him comfort.

"If you have any other questions I'm happy to answer them." I smiled and waited for him to break. After a while he took a deep breath and cleared his throat.

"When do I start or however it works if I say yes?"

"Immediately I would have you sign the papers that gave me ownership over you and I would take you over to my store for a meet and greet with the local customers while fitting you for your identification collar."

"So everyone would know I'm your Obidiant?"

"Absolutely, and in many eyes held in a high position."

"I could never get out? Like ever?"

"That's right, and you could never be associated with anyone from your former self."

"Then yes, my answer is yes."

Interesting concept, Sleepybeast. I look forward to reading more and delving deeper into their past relationship. Welcome to the story forum and JUB.

First step

"Needed the money?" His eyes hardened at mine.

"Well I don't have a personal driver or a suit even." He said sourly.

"You can't be mad at me for that; I didn't take a part of making it so. What did you do for work, I mean before you quit just now?"

"Honestly? I didn't work anywhere; I would just take little jobs people offered me." I looked at him with judgment in my eyes.

"So how did you get this place? Or clothing and food?" I could feel the shame filling him up as he said aloud what he had been avoiding for a while it seemed.

"Almost all of what I use and have was bought for me and the house belongs to my grandma."

"Where is she now?"

"On a vacation with her old co-workers. The trip is two months long and she's only been gone two weeks." I took a deep breath before speaking and pulled out a set of four papers folded together from inside my jacket.

"These are the papers that will officiate your enrolment as my Obidiant." I unfolded the papers and placed them on the space between us.

"That's all it takes? Four sheets of paper to give up myself?" He asked.

"Well in time after you take your physical there will be more papers for you to sign but these are the papers that begin your process into the system." I handed him a heavy silver pen.

"After this there's no going back you’re in this for life." A few tears fell from his eyes as he took the pen, his hands shaking. "You can say no but I take my money with me and I will never make contact with you again." I added.

He looked at me and licked his lips to moisten them. Without a word he signed the first age, initialled twice on the second page and signed the last two pages. He let the pen fall from his hand and stayed motionless for a few moments. I caught the pen before it rolled to the floor and gathered the papers together and placed them back inside my jacket.

"This is yours but I'll hold on to it for now, I need you to gather your things. Bring everything you own, there's plenty of room in the car's trunk." I opened the door and headed to the car and sat myself in the back seat.

"Go and assist him make sure he brings everything he wants to, no complaints."

"Yes sir."

The driver got out and went to help my new Obidiant, before too long they both came out with some suitcases. After they dropped those in the trunk they went back in and my Obidiant came out with a laptop and its charger and an iPad in the other hand. He handed them to Benson and then went back to close the door.

When we hit the main part of the neighborhood that led to the downtown area I reminded the driver.

"Benson you remember where to go right?"

"Yes sir." He quickly replied.

"Where are we headed?" The Obidiant asked.

"The first thing you should learn is that you no longer ask questions or speak without being spoken to, understand?"

He nodded. Benson pulled up into the parking lot of a large white building.

"Hold this and follow behind me, okay?" I said handing him the satchel.

We got out of the car and walked to the building, the word donations was painted across the building above the front doors. When we walked inside a happy looking gentleman wearing a formal blue button up walked over to us with an open hand.

"Welcome to donation center, how can I help you today?" He asked shaking my hand. His eyes moved from me to my Obidiant and back.

"I called ahead earlier and mentioned that I would be coming bye about this time."

"Mr. Stone I assume? We've been expecting you, my name is Marcus, follow me this way and we can take care of you."

He turned and led us to one of the computers on the long counter where other costumers were being helped. After he got behind the counter Marcus tapped the keyboard a few times and turned the screen to face us.

"If I can get your signature on the bold line Mr. Stone, then I need your Obidiant's signature just underneath it." Marcus handed me an electric pen and I signed then handed the pen to my Obidiant. "You're only going to use this name a few more times; you might as well enjoy it." Silently he took the pen and signed his name on the line below his new owners. "Samuel d. Angel"

Donations
Marcus took the pen from my Obidiant and turned the screen back around to face him.
"Very good, next step is collection, are the items here or do they need to be picked up?"
Just then my Obidiant's head shot to mine obviously confused as to what he just did.
"No the items are in the car ready to go."
"Okay great we'll just collect them, item number them and give you a donations receipt. Meanwhile you and your Obidiant can wait in the room to your right and please help yourself to a drink."
We walked into an empty room with a flat screen playing the local news, maroon padded chairs lined the walls and made an island in the middle. The wall that connected to the store had half a wall of glass as a window. The Obidiant watched as the brought his former belongings behind the counter; his former clothes and suitcases and even his laptop. The Obidiant turned and sat in the chair next to me gripping that satchel with life.
"Not in the chair anymore, you sit at my feet now. Don't make that mistake again." The red in his eyes I'll admit made me feel bad. The beginnings of the transition can be a little uneasy but it was worth it for the sake of society.
A reporter came in the screen covering my arrival at the new local Registration/Stone Obedience Attire store, she smiled brightly as she reported.
"Everyone is excited to meet the new heir to the stone corporations Coyote Stone. It has been agreed upon that in the short time he's been the head of the company he has proven himself to be great for the future of the Stone Obidiance Attire franchise."
My Obidiant turned his attention from the screen to me, confusion had found a new home in his eyes.
"I guess you didn't watch the news or pick up a paper in the past year or so? I mean you had a laptop, what did you use it for porn and Facebook?"
His eyes watered again as he turned to see the news anchor now speaking to the reports in the studio.
"As you guys can see the energy is up in the place and the turn out is just overwhelming. Obidiants and their owners and family owners getting named, fitted for clothes and even getting special haircuts and tattoos to celebrate." The camera pans around the room and shows America the commotion, people waiting line Obidiants at their heels some on leashes others just kneeling head tucked down. Some Obidiants were getting their haircut or body shaved and tattoos of their family's names in different places. I looked down at my Obidiant who was silently staring at the screen motionless, mouth open and hands shaking.
"You really should have been paying attention to what was happening to the world around you. You could have at least built yourself a boat strong enough to sail in instead of just drowning in the new age.
He turned to me fresh tears falling down his cheeks.
Before I could say more the door opened and Marcus walked in smiling and with a folder with Donation center logo on it.
"Okay Mr. Stone everything's been taken care of and here is your information and contact information in case you have any questions. Is there anything else I can help you with?"
Marcus asked still smiling.
"Yes, where can I drop an antonyms donation to the city's fund for Obidiant training centers?"
"How generous of you sir, heaven knows this city could use some education on the Obidiant act."
Marcus turned and led us across the building to a drop box that had a metal Shute leading to the basement.
I looked down at my Obidiant already learning the tricks of the trade from the news broadcasts.
"Throw the bag down." I command.
His eyes grew and tears fell like a storm from them.
"Go ahead its for a good cause and if that's not enough of a reason; remember there's police enforcements here that will make sure you do as you are told." He turned his head and looked at the fit police officer patrolling the front door, gun at his hip.
He turned back at me looking for understanding.
I squared my focus on him heavy.
"Do it."
With an obvious dizziness to him he crawled over to the drop box and with loud sobs he let go of the bag and cried as it fell to the bottom.
"Collect yourself Obidiant, I have a schedule to keep, let's go."
Together we headed to the car and from behind I could hear Marcuse shouting from behind.
"I quit! Fuck this place and everyone in it! I'm registering to be an Obidiant!" I stopped at the door and turned to see the commotion.
"Or better yet." Marcuse walked over to the cop not five steps from me and punched him square in the nose.
The cop wrestled him to the ground and handcuffed Marcuse calling for backup on his watch. The cop picked up Marcuse he looked at me the happiest smile on his face.
"Thank you Mr.Stone, thank you."
The cop dragged him away and we continued outside to the car.
Benson was waiting by the door and opened it for us as we got close.
After we were in and benson started the car I look at my Obidiant who's head was hung over single tears still falling.
"Cheer up, after you see what your life is going to be like you won't even remember this moment. I promise."
I tasseled his hair and noted it needed a cut.
"Now clean your face up I need you smiling for the cameras."

Interesting beginning. I look forward to seeing where this is headed.

DARK CITY ROMANCES: part 5
Two years later
The hours were early in the day, the sun was soon to break the dark sky open and a much anticipated event would be that much closer to happening. Inside the dark and quiet Stone house a thin Obedient made his way across the open sitting room and past the spotless kitchen then out the back door. When the air hit the Obedient's skin it sent a relaxing sensation that was much needed today. It wasn't often that an Obedient got time alone to simply smell the mornings blessings. The cool breeze that swept the Obedient's ember hair along his freckled cheek, the smell of the flowers planted in rows and pathways across the massive yard. Even the simple nostalgic feeling of being so insignificant in a world that craves massive significance.
The sound of distant thunder broke the Obedient out of his thoughts and he continued on his way, sad to leave those blessings behind. Before long and after he passed the gold fish pond, he found Angel laying under the red painted gazebo decorated with flowered vines and small twinkle lights. His shoulder length blond hair frayed around his head and his heavy black robe spread out on the painted wood. Expensive silk socks ran up the to his knees and were fastened by a leather straps and silver buckles. The Obedient stopped by a willow tree that swayed nearby and watched Angel, wondering what was going on inside the confines of his thoughts. "Was He nervous at all about today? Did he even care anymore? What would he do if he was sent away? Where would he go?" It would be both a saving and condemnation if Angel were to leave. The Obedient walked over and laid next to Angel and without looking at each other the Obedients snuggled close.
"You just love to piss him off, don't you? And on such an important day too, do you want to get sent to the distribution center?" The Obedient asked obviously concerned. "What will I do without you here with me?" Angel simply stared up at the twinkling lights who's brightness were dimming due to the rising sun.
"You worry about such stupid things, you know that?" Angel's words stung the Obedient a little in the heart. "That's why the master is hard on you and makes you work harder." The Obedient raised his head and curled his brows at Angel.
"Stupid? My emotions are stupid? Is that what you're saying? That's pretty fucked up to say, even for you." The Obedient said laying his head back on Angel's chest.
"You're new in the system so I'll tell you what you should have already learned by now." Angel said ignoring the Obedient's eye roll. "As long as you are an Obedient and are owned by someone, especially being owned by the fucking son of one of the founders of this system, nothing inside of you matters except the condition of your internal body. Not your emotions, not your thoughts so the sooner you get this cemented in your head the better life will be for you as long as you are here."
The Obedient stood up and sat on the back railing of the gazebo facing outward to watch the sun rise, tears gliding down his freckled cheeks. Taking a deep breath Angel rose up and stepped over behind the Obedient wrapping his thick arms around him, locking the Obedient's arms at his sides. Angel tried to plant a kiss the Obedient's cheek but was rejected by at turn of the face.
"What? What do you want an apology?" Angel whispered in the Obedient's ear. Sending an all too noticeable chill down the Obedient's arms.
"Well it would be nice, I mean it's not like I ever get one anymore since my sentence to become an Obedient." Angel breathed in deep the fresh air, tightening his lock on the Obedient.
"Okay, okay, I'm sorry for being so brutally honest about our situation here and for making you cry. How was that?" Angel asked sarcastically, making the Obedient giggle softly. The sun's beams were spreading across the sky and causing the Obedient's fiery hair glow bright.
"I love the way the sun makes your hair glow, it makes me tingle all over..." Angel said tickling the Obedient's stomach sides making him laugh out loud. As the Obedient's laughter slowed to a giggle then to a muffled cry Angel placed his arms back around the Obedient, wiping the fresh tears from his face as he did.
"Whatever happens today, whatever our master decides to do everything will work out for the both of us." Angel said.
"How can that be true? If you're gone what will happen to the both of us? I'll be here hated by our master and who the hell knows we're you could end up and with who."Angel spun the Obedient around on the wooden railing to face him cupping his his warm cheeks with his hands to look up at him. "Master doesn't hate you, what makes you think he does? Angel asked. "Well I mean he gives me the hard work you don't want to do. Not to mention that I've been here about six months now and I still don't have a name. I'm just the Obedient, at least he made your old last name your only name." Angel moved his hands from his face and held the Obedient close hugging him again.
"I've promised you time and time again that when our time here is over I will find you and we can really be each other's, have I not?" The Obedient's eyes began to tear again. "You have."
"Then save your tears for something worth crying over. There's a lot worse that could happen than us not seeing each other for a while." The Obedient nodded in agreement.
"It would still hurt to not hold you but I guess your right, there are worse things."
The Obedient's words made Angel's stomach tug. Lifting the Obedient's head so his lips met Angel's they kissed slowly enjoying the solitary closeness they rarely get with each other. The Obedient broke the kiss shivering down to his groins.
"We should head back already. The suns up completely." Angel lifted the Obedient wrapping his legs around him so that he was straddling him.
"Master took a few last night, he won't be up for a while."
They kissed again the force growing strong between them, Angel kneeled down to his knees then down to his back still in the Obedient's embrace. The two of them felt each other's bodies and kissed as if this was the last time they could. The obedient opened Angel's robe to reveal his thick, strong chest and ran his hands down his stomach and teased his growing member. Angel lifted the Obedient and laid him on his back completely removing the robe and with a swift movement removed the Obedient's plaid sleeping pants. Angel laid on top of the Obedient and pressed pressure to his hips to show dominance, the pair made passion whispers in each other's ears. The moment blurred and seemed to stop the world from continuing on and letting time slow to a halt, and when Angel entered the Obedient everything faded.
The low growls Angel made in his throat drove the Obedient to a bursting climax, Angel continued to make love to the Obedient until he was done real easing inside of him. After it was over Angel stayed atop the Obedient as they kissed slowly and savored each other's taste. As much as the pair loved this moment and as much as they wished it could go on forever time was passing, their master's pills were wearing off and the conversation they dreaded to happen was soon to occur. The decision their master would make now that the anniversary of Angel signing Coyote Stone's contract two years ago is here again. Last year Coyote chose to keep Angel but with the Obedient here this time will he choose to keep him again or will Angel be sent to the distribution center to be auctioned off to another master? The Obedient knew a decision would have to be made but for now, while Angel was only his, it couldn't matter in the slightest.

So you're back. I thought you weren't doing this story anymore. To be honest, I thought there was going to be a Coyote/Angel thing going on instead of this. Maybe Coyote likes him but secretly and is jealous? I guess we'll find out, won't we? :corn::corn:

Sexylion- Yeah, I got busy with work but wrote in pieces when I could. I have some great places I want to take these characters and in time everything will come to light! Thanks for the support!

Dark City Romances: part six

"Where were you?" Coyote asked still in bed. In only the two years that have passed since Coyote had taken over his father's company he had aged considerably. The youth was drained in every sense, his eyes were darkened from late nights and heavy pills .
"Making sure the other one got started on time so we could avoid a situation like yesterday's." Angel said staying by the open door, robe slung over one shoulder. It was clear Coyote was ready for something; Angel noticed the shirt Coyote had been wearing when he left earlier was thrown on the floor.
"It'd be nice to have someone here when I wake up. That's what your here for isn't it?" Coyote spit. Sitting up against the black padded headboard. The responsibility for the company made Coyote think of his health, eventually leading to a health program for Obedients and their owners. As such Coyote himself (to show his support for the Obedient Health and Fitness Program) kept himself in considerable shape, his shoulders had broadened; his chest was wide and hard. To celebrate his first year of running the company, aside from the massive party five other Obedients and I had to clean up after, he got a detailed tribal scorpion tattoo across his right breast, over his heart.
"My job here is to make sure your life runs as smoothly as possible, is it not?" Angel asked slowly gliding to Coyote's bedside, closing the door behind him. Letting his robe fall as he got closer.
"It is. That is my point, you weren't here. I call that insubordination." Coyote said pushing his wavy unfixed hair back relaxing his head on his hands. He knew what he had to show off.
When Angel reached the bedside he climbed on the soft royal red sheets and slithered close to Coyote.
"You can see it that way if you want but I see it otherwise." Angel said tracing his slender finger across the curls and sharp points of Coyote's tattoo. He breathed in deep enjoying the sensation of Angel's fingertip, attention fed this man's lion sized ego very well.
"I see my actions as a trade off."
"How's that?" Coyote said in a deep grumble.
"Well, true I wasn't here but I traded that moment for an opportunity to prevent a larger argument. I mean let's face that that new Obedient is awful in the mornings and I just figured I'd prevent something before before it happens."
"Nip it in the bud...?" Coyote asked.
"That's right, sir."
"Then this has nothing to do with the fact that I have a decision to make about your residency here?" Coyote asked, staring shards into Angel's eyes. "I'm almost positive you've heard about the revisions that were made earlier in the year?"
Angel looked like a worried puppy that just got yelled at, and without breaking eye contact he lowered himself down and laid his head by Coyote's waist.
"Only rumors, you never can believe the talk of other people. What are the revisions?"
Looking down at Angel's face made Coyote angry and it had little to do with the way he worked or performed. Hell he was treated a lot better than most Obedients would be anywhere else. Coyote even brought in the red headed Obedient to do the work Angel disliked. It wasn't easy to ignore the radiation that emulates from Angel, it was scentless but something deadly was filling up inside Coyote.
"In a nutshell, if I so choose to, on the anniversary of the day you became mine I could either send you to the registration center to be auctioned off for an undetermined amount of time..." Coyote snatched Angel's hand startling him in the process. He eased the grip of his fingers and led Angel's palm to his chest then down to his navel and on to the fly of his satin boxer briefs. Like the unforgettable knowledge of riding a bike Angel massaged a bit on the soft surface. Then reaching inside he pulled out the same dick that had been the ruler of his body for the past two years. He stroked the length of Coyote's member applying pressure at the head and base as he did. "Or..." Angel said seductively between kisses to Coyote's toned torso.
"Or I can keep you here with me until your next anniversary." Coyote motioned to his knees, his dick stiffened forward, and in a single movement slid Angel's silk pajamas down his legs then tossed them to the ground. "At least there's a few things I know you'll never forget." Coyote teased. It was one of the first rules Angel learned when he became an Obedient, no underwear under any garments for master's ease of access. Coyote lifted Angel's legs, threw them over his right shoulder and fit himself inside of Angel. The pleasure that erupted from the friction their bodies made together was on two different ends of a sword. Angel himself needed this to ensure him staying here and to prevent a facility involved punishment. As where Coyote needed this to ensure his masculinity stayed in tact if not with the rest of the world at least in his own mind, he needed that assurance within himself to function.
The bedroom door swung open and the Obedient walked in carrying warmed towels and a chilled bottle of liquor for Coyote's shower.
"Excuse me, Sir!" The Obedient shouted turning to walk out of the room.
"Go ahead." Coyote said between the his pelvic thrusts into Angel. "We're not shy..."
The Obedient walked over to the bathroom and set the towels on the rack that hanged beside the lighted mirror. The noise of Coyote's pleasures rang like bombs in the Obedient's ears. How could the world let this happen? This man whoever he was before he became their master's Obedient, how could he be twice the man Coyote is and be in as low a position as he is?
The Obedient wiped the thin tear lines that had made their way to his chin, and in the mirror he could see Angel watching him from under Coyote who had his face buried in the pillow next to Angel. The liquor bottle shook in the Obedient's hand which he had forgot he was carrying. The temptation was almost met but instead of compromising everything he had to lose the Obedient placed the cold bottle on the counter. With a loud growl like an bear attack his prey Coyote finished inside Angel and without a gesture got up headed for the bathroom, slapping the Obedient on the ass as he pushed him out, then slammed the door behind him. Before the Obedient could say anything Angel was out of the room, obviously not wanting to be seen like that.
