I can't believe this show. I just don't understand why the contestants turn away sums of money $300,000 and higher.](*,) I just sit there and think to myself what I could do with just the smaller amounts that they turn down. CRAP! I wouldn't turn down $5,000 let alone $100,000 or more.

I think 'Deal or no Deal' is one of the benchmarks that show how pointless and brainless TV has become.

this show really shows you how greedy a lot of people are. they think they can hit the jackpot...so refuse large sums of money that i would very happily take, then blow it and end up going home with a fiver. serves them right.

When I first heard about this show, I thought the idea was very stupid, but I did watch, and it has a way of sucking you in. I suppose there is a greed factor at play, but, there is also the tension and drama in there as well. Making such a tough decision, whether or not to turn down $300,000 or going for the $6 Million. Yes, you cna do alot with $300,000, you can do alot more with $6 million.

Some people have gamled and lost, others have gambled and came out way ahead. Thats what makes the show interesting. Is it Masterpiece Theater? NO, its not high browed entertainment, on the same token, its not filled with sex, drugs, violence, and other negative images that seem to dominate TV these days. Say what you will about it, but you cannot deny the shows success either. Last season it toped the ratings almost every single night it was on.

"Ladies Please" I'm not so gay that I miss the scantly clad women holding the cases. They really should have a female guest host and have her say "Gentlmen Please". Perhaps a daytime version for housewives and gay men of course.

NBC is maklng the same mistake this season that ABC did with Regis and WWTBAM a few years back. It's been on way too many times this past week and is starting to drop in the ratings.

I totally agree.... the show is on too much these days it should be like a few episodes a year or something. And people are soooooooo dumb... hell if you offer me fn 100,000 im TAKING it lol!

Its easy to say that now.....not so easy to say when you are actually in that position, facing the choice of $100,000 or a possible $1 million +. I don't know if I wouldn't take the chance and continue on.

Yes, it was on alot this week, but it is the season premier. It'll get back to normal probably next week. I still say it is good, its safe programing that parents can watch with their kids.

I watched this show for the first week it was on and thought it was pretty pointless. I can't believe NBC is wasting multiple hours a week on this.
