Deborah (Debbie) Gibson.

I remember reading that she said two of her boyfriends turned out to be gay. I know she dated hunky soap actor Chris Bruno. Was he one of the two?

Wouldn't that be awesome? I never watched him during his early 90's run on NBC's "Another World" but loved, loved him as gay schoolteacher Michael on "All My Children" (1995-96).

I doubt he's gay, though.

I still remember the hypes of her success - Out of the Blue, Only In My Dreams, Foolish Beat, No More Rhymes, Lost In Your Eyes.

Also remember wondering who would have better success - Tiffany or Debbie?

Now, it's Christina or Britney.

Well I'll take Debbie Gibson and Tiffany over Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera ANY DAY!!!

It would seem like the Britney/Christina combo have amassed more top ten hits than Debbie/Tiffany, but not quite as many as one would presume.

From 1987 to '89, D+T had 9 ... while B+C from 1999-the present have 11.

Yeah. Shake Your Love was definitely a Debbie's 80's music magic. : )

Foolish beat was one of my favorite song from the 80's.
Wonder if she ever do another CD again.

She performs all the time! She had a CD come out as recently as 2005. I know I see ads for her performing in NYC a lot (at least one time with Tiffany). She also does a lot of musical theater.

'only in my dreams' is a pop classic! but debbie's in her own league, since she actually wrote it when she was only like 15.. can't say that about tiff, britt, or chris..

her out of the blue cd was/is fantastic the only song i didnt like was red hot.

OOOOOOO "Electric Youth" was SSSOOOO one of my coming out songs! LOL

And what guy around my age didn't fantasize about their dream man to "Only in My Dreams?"
