I have just finished reading "Degrees of Separation" and enjoy is immensely. Such a compassionate and loving story. Josh's long departure from reality and living in denial. Being so obsessed by his past relationship, but then finding Mark and beginning a new life. Only then to be tested again. However, he has learned an important lesson which so many of us have lost track of in the compassion he shows toward Mark for his secret misdeeds.

A second part from Mark's perspective could be very interesting, but as the author, you know if that is best. Like you say, ending in a happy note may be the right way to go.

I look forward to more of your writing.

Also, I was sorry to read about your Grandmother, however, I hope by now she is at home and recovering well.
