Edie's roll was uniting the other woemn, Now they will have no one. She served a purpose. Wtih Tuc Watkins putting in time on "one Life to Life", the gay bosy may be moving, too.
 
I don't have a problem with what Tom did today. Porter was being a selfish spoilt punk jerk. In this economic hardship he shouldn't be thinking about himself rather his family and coming together as one unit to survive. Tom did the right thing.


The writing of the Gabby SL sucked. Gabby should have highlighted that it wasn't blackmail. Because she never went to him and told him if you don't give Carlos a raise i am gonna tell your wife.


Technically it was bribery on the part of the man. Gabby had no intention of telling the wife but once she realize she was being bribed Gabby being Gabby just sweetened the pot.
 
if anything they should do away with Susan. her quirky, neurotic personality was cute for the 1st season, but she's becoming one of the most annoying characters on tv.

they should refrain from scenes featuring the various kids. seriously, Wisteria Lane produces the most obnoxious children....at least Andrew was cute while being a pain in the ass.

Ummmm Porter was being a teenager. That doesn't make child abuse OK.

Also that whole storyline was done. IN the opening scene they had like seven teenagers on staff... no shit you'll have high labor cost if you're employing so many unnecessary employees.

A) Accepting a bribe is no better. B) It was blackmail/extortion seeing as she was clearly threatening him. the fact that they used some originality in the writing doesn't make the scene "suck"

I agree. Susan was being completely unreasonable and down right annoying. Like last episode she was freaking out because they needed money and Mike needed to work more and this episode she's freaking out because Mike's not aroudn enough for their kid and the NERVE of Katherine what babysitting for free when neither of them are available... how DARE she???

As far as kids I miss Julie. They just let her fall off the face of the planet with Bree's daughter and I just KNOW that Kaila's gonna come back as teenbitch soon.

i forgot all about Julie. i always felt so sorry for her pretty much having to raise her own mother....

don't really miss Danielle, but bringing Kala back could definately make for an interesting storyline. she could SO grow up to be the new Edie.

she's so boring and annoying....and I think Katherine McFair is the lamest character,...kill her off!!

i do agree that Katherine's character is pretty pointless...all she's there for now it seems is to give Susan ridiculous things to lose her mind over. on the other hand i LOVE Dana Delaney, so i was glad they kept around. i wish they'd kept focus on her friendship with Bree.
 
Guess I'll step in and defend Susan. I like her and think her character is realistic. She's on a street where every "housewife" wants the best of life. For Susan the best is fleeting because she is left alone and her funds are low. I think she really wants the best of everything and needs Mike, or at least some money from him. I want her daughter to come back. She was the rock that Susan always needed. Maybe Mike's son with all the money will die, leave him his money, and Susan will have plenty to send MJ to the right school.

Notice how the show is pouring on the nation's financial crunch into the storyline? Works well for the pizza place and the Stavos bunch. That is realism.

I am glad we were saved one night without Gabby's rats to mess the place up. Thank you writers!!!

Is Bree's husband no longer a dentist because he is an ex-con?
