mtv showed the whole musical version of legally blonde. i'm really not into musicals at all. but saturday afternoon it was freezing so i was in and nothing else was on so i watched it. it was actually pretty good. i don't even like the movie to be honest but i was entertained. i think it comes on again sometime this week.

I watched it. I was watching my neighbor's 13 year old daughter while her mother was at work. It was entertaining.

I saw about twenty minutes of it. I thought it was terrible, like almost everything else that opens up on Broadway nowadays.

And why were the bimbos from The Hills hosting? So stupid. They introduced after commercial breaks and described the scenes we were about to see, like we can't figure it out ourselves.

I hate MTV.

I missed it, dammit. I've seen the movie hundreds of times, and I was looking forward to it. Glad it might come on again this week, because I was busy and completely forgot to program the VCR :(

I may be the only gay man who hates musicals/Broadway. I hate everything about them. I watched 10 minutes of it during the whole perm thing and had a sour face the whole time. That shit is my Kryptonite.

I watched the first act last night. I agree with acidqueen986 about the hosts. I didn't know who they were...I thought they were just random people picked off the street. They sounded like they had never read from a script in their lives.

Let me start off by saying I love musical theater. I enjoy doing it, watching it, and hell, it pays my bills. But, if it makes you feel better bluedragon4, I know many gay men who don't like musicals.

I still haven't seen the show live. Although I didn't think what I saw on MTV was horrible, it was nothing that is going to make me want to see the show. The part that confused me the most was the lack of dancing. The show was directed by an amazing Tony winning choreographer. There was almost no choreography (at least in the first act).

I haven't liked a single musical I have seen. they are all so stupid. I hate the music and everything... I did, however, enjoy the Buffy The Vampire Slayer musical episode... but that's it... I'm not saying i hate musicals... I just don't like any that exist.
