Ok, a previous thread inspired me to create this one. I've been called a "self hating homo" and "closet case" yada yada yada.

I honestly think you can't simply label someone "gay" or "straight" because there are so many gray areas in between.

For example, let's take two extremes:

Girl #1: Makes it very clear to everyone around she's gay, is married to another woman, dearly in love with her, and she's proud of her sexual orientation.

Girl #2: Married with a husband, has children at home, very attracted to males, but has a secret attraction to other woman and its purely fantasy.

Would you call Girl#2 "gay" simply for a secret attraction or no? She obviously is in love with a man and most likely is not "emotionally" attracted to other woman, and therefore would never have a relationship with one.

Where do you draw the line?

I think that your examples are too broad. One describes what might be considered by some as "traditionally gay." The other, as I've illustrated, describes someone who might be able to keep her sex life interesting for her "straight" husband.

I think that you've got the closet case definition pretty accurate.

I think that if you "like to mess around with guys" for "sexual gratification" that perhaps it is your views that are too cut and dry. Perhaps you're bisexual with a stronger attraction to females than to males.

Something to consider.

People say that you should be honest with yourself, or to stop denying who you "really are"; if this is what you are in the very core of your being, then obviously you know the truth and nothing else matters.
