Digital Camera Advice - please!

Thanks so much everyone. I am well aware that anything over 6mp isn't a make or break deal. While the SD850 IS isn't out yet I think I'm going to wait for it. My Fuji can go up to 12 and when I can take pics with it they are great and very manipulatable. What I like about the 850 is that it is the new sd700 is which has consistently receive RAVE reviews. SO if they keep everythin the same with the 850 IS I'll go for it. I also like that with the 700 and 850 you can get very close with the macro up to 2cm. With the other SD models (e.h. 750, 1000 etc.) you can't get closer than 5cm. I know 3cm isn't much but I do a lot of macro work and it's important to me. The camera store I've been haunting claims to be getting some of the 850 IS camera this week so I'll check it out but wait for a professional review on stve digicams or dpreview or cnet before buying. If it's not the same as the 700 IS I'll get that on ebay as Thermodynamics recommends. Thanks again everyone!
