One question. I know that she is a minor, but this is an opportune moment to bring up the never-ending question.

Where do we draw the line between nude art, and pornography?

The picture, is not pornography, no where near. Yet people are up in arms over it. Why? Because she shows some skin? I see more skin from girls her age on the beach.

And on that note, when is someone no longer a child, but a young adult?

And here's yet another question, it's obvious she wanted it, otherwise her parents wouldn't have gave the thumbs up. So where does HER responsibility come into play?

Finally, how is that, a TAME picture, sexualized a child, and how is it pedophilia?

I agree with Annie, it is a beautiful picture.

I think it may be a little irresponsible in that it's a undressed picture of a minor.

Weren't people upset when Brooke Shields was posing in the jeans commercials years ago? And when she was in the Blue Lagoon (with teeage sex and pregnancy)? Yes, I know this is a different person and there are slightly different circumstances, but something like this has happened before. And that was in 1980, almost 30 years ago!

I understand that, but my questions still stand. Things are often more complicated or simplistic then we think, and in this situation, it could be as simple as some greedy people thinking on how to cash in on a 15-16 y/o girl, or could be as complicated as Cyrus looking for a possible split from Disney for various reasons.

Totally agree. I love Miley but it's creepy & really inappropriate for any 15 year old girl to have a photograph taken of her when she has no shirt on and is covering up her chest with a sheet.

It doesn't matter if you're rich and famous. You're still just 15. Gross!
