My mom is a massage therapist who often trades massages for art, so I grew up with a lot of it in the house. In my house I have several paintings done by local artists, as well as a few of my own pieces. I recently bought an amazing oil painting by a friend of mine. I can't imagine living in a house without paintings or photographs on the walls.

Anyone else?

Just a few of my own works, plus oil paintings by my late sister, some limited ed reprint, and a signed Butler Brown.

As far as knick-knacks, like my collections of gnomes, steins, animal figurines, and religious icons are each gathered in their own tight spots on shelves, so as not to be haphazard clutter. For my taste, an empy tabletop or blank wall space is more attractive than a surface with something scattered on it like a ridiculous odd duck.

One of my sister's paintings is actually hidden behind a hanging Mexican woven rug, because I don't want any of the family to know I have it until it's given to my brother's daughter on her 16th birthday.

Just my own photographs.

My friends that visit say my place looks like a museum with all the art . I don't
have enough wall space so they are stacked on the floor in some spots. Love
original art of any type....

just my sisters paintings though i do have some Rebecca Guay prints though i didn't get them when i left california so they are stuck with some friends

I am a art glass freak.I own a few nice pieces but wish I could afford more

Some of the glass art is beautiful. I don't have any yet...but I'm looking. :)

I have very little art. I'm still decorating my home a little at a time. I have some photography, digital art, and a water color that was done by my best friend. I have a couple of Thomas Mangelson's huge limited edition photographs and a signed dancing for peace ink lithograph.

i have a few painting that my aunt did. one of them is a portrait of my late mother and a painting of angels. to me they are beautiful works of art.

Just one original, a Chinese calligraphy scroll, and a reproduction of a Ribera, you know I´m so austere...
Of course, there are also the literary works, music (CDs and sheet music, no shit in my place) and even some movie

We have a few really beatiful Chinese-style watercolors that my great-aunt Wai Hing painted, and a rather ghastly brown-and-gold Texas landscape in oils that Grandmother's cousin Christine painted; and since I went to an art school and had/have several artist friends, I have quite a few sketches and paintings of my own and my friends' that I have to get matted and so haven't hung on the walls yet.

My partner does stained glass...
We have beautifull pieces in most of the windows, plus tiffany style lamps.

See my gallery for the sculpture. I really have arrived at saturation point as I have no flat surfaces left to place any new pieces. I will have to start buying pedestals if I continue.

Eighteen paintings on the walls leaving me no other place to hang new ones.

I could not and would not be comfortable living somewhere without some form of art work displayed. I don't have to like it but it has to be there.

I forgot....I also had 3 custom made sculptures (flautist, violinist, & dancer) for the front yard. And I have a hand carved wooden buddha in my bedroom. :)

In every room of my home and most of the windows (stained glass). I have collected one of's for years now. My most favourite is two hands (male) holding onto each other that was carved from ebony. Will put some on my profile when I figure out how.

Just some of the photographs I have taken.

My sister has painted some amazing pieces, though, which I would love to have up on the walls.
