Not really, I havn't actually paid for anything, live off handouts.

My OS is windows 2000 which was given to me by a friend, its the legit CD and everything.

Photoshop, while from a copied cd is from my father who I think should have the cd at his place, and even that was an old copy of photoshop from his place of work that were gonna throw it away.

Microsoft office 97 is probably the only thing, but hey, its 11 years old, and even that was given to me by a friend who doesn't use the original copy anymore cos they have the new one so meh.

I too use linux, but that doesn't mean I automatically have access to all software... I did pick up a CD of Wolfram's Mathematica in Malaysia (KL) two or three years ago; and it works fine. But I haven't in fact used it after installing it and testing it - I've been heavily involved in the development of open-source computer algebra systems.

Goodness gracious! No!

I visit Thailand and Malaysia (Penang and KL) regularly. I have never, ever seen pirated software for sale in either of these countries. The one time I was in Vietnam, I did not see any for sale either. I have also never seen pirated CDs or DVDs for sale in any of these countries.

A certain close relative of mine told me that he did buy the latest MS Office in Kuala Lumpur for USD6 but of course he never used it. I have not used his copy either.

You have obviously never been to Pantip Plaza in Bangkok then...the place is full of 'software' stalls.

Are you retarded? Who in their right mind would publicly declare and leave a written record that they have pirated software?

I was thinking that myself, mattad.

But in answer to the original question I can honestly say that I do not have any pirated software on either my work or home computers. I guess you could say the Justice of the Peace in stops and as a Justice of the Peace I would never even contemplate breaking the law and installing pirated software.
