Or you avoid it believing it would make you fat?
Many people think that having liquids with meals would make them fat.
I myself think it is just a myth. I always have drinks with my meals.

My mouth gets too dry if I don't drink with my meal, so I do.

well there was this time that I peed in a bottle...

oh

umm

wrong thread

Sorry!oops!

Having fat with your meal makes you fat, not liquid.

Of course, if you consider a milkshake to be a liquid, there may be some validity to the claim.

I only drink water with my meals these days. Used to drink fizzy drinks but realising how bad they are for your insides (and I have trouble with my insides) I stopped drinking them altogether.

I drink water throughout the day and with meals also. At least 2 glasses with meals.

i always have a drink with my meals... whether its water or soda i will pretty much have somethin to gulp down every few bites...

I must have a Coke with my meal. Id rather not eat if I can't have a Coke. Must be Coca Cola, no other kind of soda.

The best is to drink a full glass of water before meals, in this way you activate your kidneys, then, you must drink water with your meal, so your intestine will work better during digestion.
Drinking too much water after your meal can slow down the digestion process and can cause heart burns.
Absolutely avoid any kind of soda with your meals.
A good glass of red wine is always healthy for you heart and nervous system.

I drink either water, milk, coke, beer or wine with my dinner. It depends on what I'm having and what mood I'm in.

i always drink something you kno like coke or pepsi. i never knew that wud make u fat. ???

Of couse it can make you fat. Sodas are nothing but empy calories. Don't be deceived by the lack of fat on the nutritional label, calories are far worse for you, especially when you're consuming them in something that has absolutely no other nutritional value, like pop.

I drink water and a nice glass of wine.

Yes, a lot of water I am a “water whore” as I can´t get enough of it, and If I am eating out I generally drink wine with my meals (and of course a lot of water, lol).

I can't eat without having something to drink too.

In the morning, OJ and coffee....

At lunch, usually a bottle of water....

In the evening...either water, a glass of wine, or unsweetened ice tea.

I only drink pop (soda for some of you) occasionally.....

As a kid and teen we always had milk with our meals... always... However, now that I am Iron Defficient I have Orange Juice, as the vitamin C helps you absorb the iron that is in the food. Milk on the other hand can hinder iron absorbtion as the Calcium in the milk binds with the iron in the food.

If I'm having a pizza or something that isn't all that healthy anyway, I'll usually drink pop, Sprite/7up, most of the time.

I usually only drink water, coffee and wine anyway, so with meals during the day it's water and in the evening it's wine

Ice Tea for me, then water the rest of the night, maybe a fruit juice just before bed.
