All things considered, eating at Wendy's is about as dangerous as you can get.

their five-finger chili is pretty good, though. (The "youngsters" here might not get the reference.)

So you want to hear the mushroom story then? Okay. A few months after my sister was born and a couple years before I was born, my mom’s grandma, aunt, and parents came for a visit. My mom’s youngest brother David was living in a nearby city at the time and so their parents went to visit him. Well Great Grandma saw these random mushrooms growing outside underneath some pine trees and she was telling my dad’s parents how delicious these mushrooms were. Grandma was skeptical but allowed her to speak. So then great grandma picked these mushrooms and started to make some soup with them. My dad came home and had a tiny taste which he said he knew something was wrong because his tongue went numb and the spoon had turned black. He told her to throw out the soup but great grandma hid it underneath the sink. The next day she convinced my dad’s parents to eat the soup and grandma felt sick and threw up but grandpa and great grandma were fine. Then they all took a nap and my mom’s aunt tried to wake them up a bit later but they weren’t waking up. So my mom had to call for a couple of ambulances. My neighbor said she came home from work to find three ambulances in our drive way. My mom then called her parents and my dad to tell them about the situation. At the hospital, grandma was okay as she threw up most of the mushrooms and thus affected the least But grandpa was flirting with the nurses which made grandma upset and this was apparently also out of character for him. My dad tried to check on great grandma and when he tried to ask her if she was okay, she tried to hit him. In fact she tried to hit anyone who came near her that they had to strap her down to the bed.

I lived dangerously in the 1980s and was lucky not to get AIDS. I've reached the age where I don't take dangerous risks anymore.

For me, it would be not taking the daily rivoroxaban...so anything else just seems tame.

But I won't eat moldy bread.
