Normally I do not use 800x600 although when I am writing reports, analyses etc, i.e. text only, I switch over to 800x600 sometimes because I find it easier to work with large amounts of text. Changing the zoom percentage doesn't seem to work.
 
Haven't used 800x600 since win98 came out. Current resolutions are 1280x1024 and then my 2nd monitor is 1024x768 for reading text.
 
I haven't used that in ages... I think the last time I did was around the late 90's.
 
I haven't used that resolution since the Windows 98 era. Maybe even longer.
 
i do since my mom is staying with me. she can't see it very well at higher resolutions. maybe i'm just doing it wrong but she likes the screen with larger everything. :)
 
I'm tempted to try it, but then I'd have bunched-up icons.
