I use a daily wash from Nivea For Men that's worked well as I tend to have an oily face. It's managed to keep that bothersome problem at bay.

Yea, I use Cetaphil...you can buy it almost anywhere but a lot of dematologists and models recommend it...no fragrance, no anything that can clog your pores or cause break-outs

Nope. Just the cheapest generic crap I can find at Targét.

No special soap for me. I shower with Lever 2000 in the warm months and then use Dove in the colder months when running the furnace. This seems to work fine for me.

Spectro Jel. It's that soapless, cleanser. I also use Positively Radiant by Aveeno, which is also really nice.

I also use Nivea for Men, oil control as my skin tends to be a little oily. It does seem to work well.

:-)

I use several kinds, but none daily... most days I just wash my face with shampoo. But sometimes I wash my face when I'm not in the shower, and then I rotate between Alpha Hydroxy exfoliating cleanser, St Ives apricot sloughing scrub, Oil of Olay foaming face cleanser, and a couple other things I have that I can't remember right now.

Dear God, People !!

Don't use 'regular' soap on your face !!

Your facial skin is much different than what covers the rest of your
body.

Your pores need to be opened and moisturized everyday... Unless of
course you want to look like a stewed prune under a heat lamp by the
time you hit 40.

(The horror)

A good, cheap way to go is Neutrogena's 'Deep Clean' cream cleanser
(about $7 a tube) folowed by a light mositurizer of your choice.

Use it EVERY day, and maybe a light facial scrub once a week wouldn't
hurt, either. Saint Ive's Apricot is economical, and just as good as much
higher priced brands.

Seriously, after only using it for a month or so, my skin complexion had improve significantly and my pimples are all gone.

yeah, me as well....

The razor burns around the neck....GONE

It evens out the complextion amazingly well for something that's sold at
the grocery store.

Worth every penny.

The best tip I could give anyone reading this is to start taking care of
your skin and hair *before* they look like they need it.

Trust me.

Don't think time will skip over you.

As Dolly said in 'Steel Magnolias'.... "Time marches on...and eventually it
marches right over your face...."

Word to the wise.

Johnson's pH 5.5 for Sensitive Skin facewash (daily) and the same in micro-bead containing facial scrub twice a week.

According to the pros at the cosmetics counter, I have combination skin - oily in parts and dry in parts. However, most of the larney samples I got - Clinique, Clarins, Aramis - reacted badly with my skin, hence the pH5.5 sensitive which does the job nicely.

I use Pro-Active and it works magic for me! The only time I get breakouts is when I get really lazy and don't use it for a couple of days. It does dry the hell out of your skin when you first start using it but you adjust after a week or so..and I don't recommond their moisturizer! I guess it only works for some people and my friend actually had an allergic reaction to it!

They make fine products at a decent price. On the advice of my dermatologist, I use their moisturizer as a daily sunscreen. It also protects against UVA and UVB.
