I have an oily complexion. I wash my face daily with glycerine soap. I have since I was a teenager. Once upon a time, I would buy a Neutragena or Pears bar, but for the past ten years, I have been buying Yardley's scented glycerine soap at places like Big Lots and the dollar store. I also sometimes get bars cheaply at CVS or Walgreens (their own store brands, which are identical to Yardley's) for .25 or .50 per bar.

The trick is not so much in the soap, (although I do like the scented glycerine bars) but in making sure you rinse your face well, and finish with a cold water splash to contract the pores. I firmly believe that that last splash with cold water makes the difference.

No, I don't. I'm not gay. One bar of soap for my whole body.

Oh.

Yes, I remember one time a Str8 friend of mine tried to buy a moisturizing
facial wash at the mall, and was immeadiatly escorted out by security, and
over the the Nascar collectables store across the hallway.

:?

I used Pro-Activ for a while and it worked really well. Then I tried the generic called Acne-Free that you can get at Wal-Mart and surprisingly it worked just as well. It is the same 3 step program but much cheaper ($18 rather than $50).

I use a fairly cheap face soap from Costco. I love it. Can't think of who makes it atm.

Wow, am I filthy? I never ever use any soap on my face. Maybe you could consider shaving cream a kind of soap? I only shave every couple of days, though !oops!
