Does anyone know about the Blackberry Curve (8300)?

I'm thinking about buying this phone next month (have a Treo now).

Does anyone know about playing music on the Blackberry? If so, how much songs/GB can the blackberry hold of music? Also, how is the listening quality like and do you need to buy special earphones for the phone?

Also, if you know of any other cool futures about the Blackberry please share! I know one: you can use the Blackberry as a modem. Not sure if you can use it as a cable modem, but the site just says "modem".

Get an iPhone or a Nokia N95 if your not in to the iPhone hype.

umm maybe he wanted a real keyboard it iphone does not have a physical one and n95 does not have one at all

i am sure the curve is a very good phone maybe you could search for some reviews

My brother has an iPhone and it looks too kiddish. The bright and colorful graphics doesn't look very mature if that makes sense.

Plus the iPhone is screaming "scratch me" with it's smooth finish.

It's just like the SideKick, all I see are little kids with the Sidekick and (and soon) the iPhone.

Plus I like that I can drive with and text message with the QWERTY phone keyboard and not have to look at the keys while driving. An iPhone, you can't do that. There is no "blind dialing" with an iPhone. (Plus I already have a Zune, why do I need another mp3 player?).

_AJ_, I researched the phone, but the reviewers have all been businessmen. I just want someone who is using it as a phone and not a tool for their job.

I haven't heard any problems with scratching.
Isnt the surface a thin piece of glass?

The surface is a thin piece of glass but it can still be scratched. And then if you touch it, smudges are all over it.

We can send a guy to the moon, but we can't make smudge free surfaces.
