Any dog i've ever had i made sleep in a dog basket downstairs in the kitchen, allowing a dog to sleep with you seems very unhygienic and what do you do when sex is happening with your partner or your fist, that must confuse the dog no end.

Does your dog sleep with you ?

I never let a pet sleep with me. They always disturbed my sleep too much.

We did it like straights. Dogs were on top of the covers, and I underneath the covers.

I let my cat sleep in my bed.

When we had Mayson, our dog, he slept in a basket in the hallway.

Just outside our bedroom door.

My pup sleeps in my bed snuggled up against my leg. I love it.

I don't let him sleep on the sheets and just wash the comforter more often.

Always, on top of the duvet cover unless its really cold then he is allowed to burrow between it and the top sheet.
New mattress and box are so tall we got him a ramp so he can get up.

In Canada we all let our huskies sleep with us for warmth.

Hence the expression 'Three Dog Night'.

We used to let our pup sleep in our bed. But he's grown to the size of a teen-age human. As you can see in the picture below, he's almost as big as me. Takes up too much space so we make him sleep in his own bed which is right next to ours.

Same here. I am too easily disturbed in my sleep. We even have two bedrooms: one with a double bed and one with two single beds. Every day I get to decide which one we use. The original idea was to sleep in separate bedrooms, but that never happened, so we ended up buying a second single bed for the bedroom that had one single bed at first.

As for dogs, I would never let them in my bed, but they're welcome in the bedroom. So we also have three dog baskets: one in the living room and one in each bedroom. Is that strange?

I wouldn't even be able to fall asleep without Mr. Kitty next to me.

Since the first time my dog launched himself onto the bed he has slept there....... :luv:

My nephew allows his 2 dogs on his living room furniture and when I visit, I won't even sit on any of it. I pull a dining room chair into the room and sit on that. Funny how his dogs don't sit on those chairs. So, no...if I had a dog I wouldn't even allow it in the bedroom, much less the bed. I like dogs too, but not that much.
