Dollhouse Cancelled

Sarah Conner(season 2 on) was nothing to cheer about.

I've still got a weekday boycott going on FOX after they put Micheal Rapaport on Prison Break(which lasted a season too long), who belonged on War At Home, which FOX also canceled. But they saw fit to keep that STUPID marriage sitcom going. And don't get me started on House...

Which proves my earlier point.

i did enjoy Sarah Connor, but i have to admit, that Brian Austin Green is the thing that really held my attention to the show. sometimes i don't know wtf they're thinking over at FOX. for one thing, they really drop the ball on advertising. i was 2 weeks late on this season of Dollhouse because i didn't realize it had started. sucks that they canned it, but i don't think anyone's at all surprised.

I enjoyed season 1, this season however hasn't been up to par.

I think that if Fox was going to give Joss another try, it should have been with Firefly. That show still rocks my world and I've seen each episode way too many times.

I'm not surprised. The first season's storyline was, well, not a first season storyline. It was aiming for "complex" but ended up being "complicated," which made it inaccessible and difficult-to-follow for even the smarter viewers.

I agree with gvlatinboi, though. If it came down to Dollhouse vs. Firefly, there's no contest: Firefly is the superior program.

I would hate to have to kill you for that (and then make House resurrect you, just to prove a point). Best show on television!

I tried to like Dollhouse, given that I am a big fan of all things Whedonesque, but just couldn't get into it. There were a few episodes with fun stories but the main arc never took me in. Aside from one or two, I didn't feel any connection or emotional resonance with any of the characters, either.

Lol I feel so bad for Eliza, every show she goes on gets cancelled...she's still hot though!

i don't know how they'd work it with Buffy's continuing in comics, but i would KILL for a series starring Faith!!! and hopefully Tahmoh Penikett will find another series soon...that guy is sexy as HELL!!! i dunno why Joss continues to work with Fox, the way he gets screwed over.

I haven't ever gotten to see DOLLHOUSE (it's been on my "mean to do" list). I'm glad there's going to be a "finishing" show. I would love to see something like "Faith the Vampire Slayer."

This is exactly how I feel!

I really question the whiz kids at Fox. How do they make so many dumb decisions?

I knew they were going to cancel it sometime or another....
T___T

BUT LATEST EPISODE WAS SO FRIGGIN GOOD.

:)

This season did give us Victor imprinted as sorority girl "Kiki," which was probably the single greatest moment of Dollhouse.

I think everyone saw the cancellation coming, so I can't feel too bad about it. At least they have a chance to wrap the series up properly, which usually doesn't happen on Fox's short-lived shows.

this is pretty much how i feel about the show... it was too complicated, and i'm a pretty smart guy. the last "real, un-aired" episode of season 1 just complicated things even more. it was a great premise, but the writing seemed kind of disjointed to me at most times... maybe he had just been writing comics for too long? (the first half of season 1 seemed very comic bookish to me)

i felt obligated to like the show much more than i actually enjoyed watching it and i'm a bit relieved that it was canceled because, at this point, i didn't really feel invested enough in the plot or characters to care for another 3-4 seasons.

he'll probably just do a comic for the last few seasons anyways.

I hate fox, I hate fox, I hate Fox, They cancel TTSCC and now Dollhouse seriously other networks need to pick it up! Its a good show.

awww.

Just hope that Joss completely blows everyone away with the remaining episodes (more than he has already), and then wait for it to get a cult following on dvd!

:)

OH MY GOODNESS GRACIOUS. THAT DOUBLE EPISODE DOLLHOUSE TONIGHT.

Was amazing.

Summer Glau = <3 <3 <3 <3 <3

So many good supporting actors (Victor as TOPHER? whaaat)......

:)

Enver Gjokaj was outstanding with his impression of the topher character.

I just watched the finale and I am so disappointed that this show was cancelled. What a fantastic last couple of shows! The characters were complicated and the story very unpredictable. I'm going to miss this show a lot.

Same loved the show! Shame the ending had to be so rushed. I still don't quite get it!

I missed the finale because Fox didn't bother to promote it. I was gonna set my DVR before going out and figured it was on at 9 like it usually is, but already missed 50 minutes of the show before I found out that it actually started at 8. I watched Fringe the night before and didn't see a single promo. I guess I'll just have to wait for the box set.
