Real Housewives star Jen Shah sentenced to over six years in prison

Do these people not realise that as soon as they put their heads up above the parapet that anyone and everyone will go digging for dirt?

Over here we have a similar issue. The head of a charity started screaming racism and all of a sudden their charity is probed and found to be wanting. It also looks like they may very well be charged over missing donations and grants

I couldnt believe that for the longest time she said "I didn't do it". No, Jen, you did

Why no link to the charity story?

I've no interest in clicking on a reality TV star unless it's a link to where her vivisection is being live streamed.

Wow, her plastic surgeon did a shitty job.

We can only hope that George Santos is next.

About six years ago, I was asked to do a pilot for a reality show in which I played "architect". The producer as well as client would be a woman who was already a veteran reality star, and we would collaborate on remodeling a house in Beverly Hills. When I turned it down, saying I thought I wasn't "ready for prime time," her husband looked at me incredulously and said, "But it will do wonders for your brand." (I hadn't known until that moment that I had a "brand".) Knowing that I would have no control over how I was edited--and, therefore, portrayed--nor what might come up about my life as an escort, were among the many reasons beyond the obvious (infra dig) I decided to let it pass.

When I told this story to a friend who is much more tuned into popular culture than I and added that I didn't look forward to a Daily Mail article titled, "Architect to the Stars' Hidden Past", he laughed and said, "But the producers would love it!"

Well aren't we all cheated that you didn't do it....and add to your fabulousness.

I assure you that even with the most generous editing I would have been embarrassingly bad. It would have been terrible for the "brand" I didn't know I had.

Very wise. Unless you are squeaky clean (and who is?) any exposure on TV is liable to throw up past dirt
