Hawke can be male or female, and all of your companions that can be romanced in the game are bisexual except for one. That scene is between Hawke and Anders, and it would be just as cheesy if your Hawke was female and you romanced Anders .

That was lame. I think I will be skipping this one. Evidently DA2 has been dumbed down for the consoles in more ways than one.
