The soundtrack to Dreamgirls is now on U-Tube. I don't know how to do links, but, if you go to U-Tube and type in the song titles, they'll come up. (And IMO Jennifer Hudson"s "I'm Not Livin' Without You" doesn't hold a candle to Jennifer Halliday's.)

I never really understood the appeal of this show. It's all about the performers, because IMHO, the music is boring.
The lyrics all seem to be along the lines of "...and when I dream of the dreams we were dreaming, I never dreamed that the dreams were dreams of dreamers. Dream with me, and we'll dream our dreams, dreamer."

And don't get me started on "Rent." No other musical has made me want to stand up and yell "Just get fucking JOBS and stop complaining!!!"
