drinking piss -- safe?

I know this won't be everyone's cup of tea (so to speak), so if you're grossed out, I'm sorry. I posted a similar thread in a "fetish" forum (where it arguably belongs), but so far no response. Thought I'd try a more general audience. Here's the situation: I recently became aware that I have a thing for watersports. My question is: what are the health issues, if any, of drinking another boy's piss. I know that piss is basically sterile, and most people agree that there is little to no chance of HIV transmission. However, the other night I drank a large amount of piss from a guy, and about 30 mins. later, back at home, I began to feel very peculiar. I realized, to my surprise, I was getting high. I messaged the guy to find out what was going on, and he admitted to having done ecstasy sometime before I came over. Well, I don't do drugs, and it was a miserable experience. I was alone and literally up all night because I couldn't sleep. Anyway, it got me thinking. If it's possible to transmit drugs like ecstasy (and I would guess crystal) that way, what else might be happening by drinking someone's piss?

Yes, you got high off your ecstacy-laced beverage. As the kidneys filter the blood, drugs in the blood are excreted into the filtrate, and the filtrate eventually becomes urine. If you drink normal urine, there shouldn't be a problem unless you are dehydrated and the urine is highly concentrated because it has lots of salts and minerals. There is bacteria at the end of the urethra, so you should let the guy's initial few seconds of pee spill elsewhere as it washes out the bacteria.

Unless you have a urinary or kidney infection, urine is sterile. It simply doesn't have bacteria, viruses or fungi in it. You can drink it in an emergency, should nothing else be available.

Urine isn't explicitly or completely waste. It's a result of your body trying to maintain a balance of water, salts, and other metabolites. It's sterile because pretty much everything in your body is sterile (there's nothing that elicits an immune response) while everything outside is not. It's easy to lump the renal system together with the digestive system, but they're very different. Feces are most definitely not sterile and the food they started out as wasn't sterile either. The GI tract is actually not considered to be inside the body. The urinary bladder is also technically outside the body, but the filtrate/urine was excreted directely from the inside of the body, which is sterile.

Whether or not you should drink urine in an emergency really depends on the situation. If you need help swallowing or washing down food and you will have access to fresh water within a few hours, then that's fine. However, if you're dehydrated or have gone without water for a day or two, your own urine would make things far worse because it would return all that salt back into your body. Now if someone came by who wasn't dehydrated, then that urine would be good for you to drink.

While you can pee while you're hard, there are valves to control flow from the bladder and the testes such that urinating and ejaculating don't ever happen at the same time. However, if you have severe problems with an enlarged prostate, you might get semen leakage when you pee and mild to severe discomfort when it happens.

My advice is to only drink urine from someone you know is healthy and trust. While a quick reading on wikipedia does confirm that urine is virtually sterile from a healthy person, sick people could have blood in their urine and this you should not take internally.

However, your own post seems to answer your question pretty much. Besides what I just mentioned, if drugs can be transmitted by urine, do you think its a good idea to drink a random boy's urine?
