I've been intimated - harrassed, actually - at work for my political beliefs. By my boss, no less. I've been told over and over again that I must register to vote (although I have been for decades), and that I'd better vote for a certain somebody if I know what's good for me. Should I do something about it?

I walk to work. They'd have to slash my shoes. With me in them. And I doubt they'd do that.

i would tell your boss to back off. your vote is yours and is not up for discussion or in your case, intimidation. if he keeps at it and tries anything by way of retribution then i would file an grievance with your employer's equal rights office.

I did do the "back off" routine last week, and it appears to be holding for now. Hopefully, it'll stick for another week.

BTB, she's an Obama supporter.

That was obvious by the way that you worded it.
I agree that she should back off.
I never tell people how to vote.
I have asked people to consider voting no on 8.
Asking once and telling are entirely different imo.

Lex - Find a way to record what she says, then tell her to take early retirement or get fired. People like her shouldn't be allowed to have management positions.

Seeing as she owns the business, I find that highly unlikely. :) Besides, she HAS laid off when I told her to, and I've enjoyed the ten years I've worked here for her, so I'm not going to let her zeal change that.

Funny that they're yelling "country first", yet are protesting people....voting?
