There are a number of reasons. One is, as you said, b/c you've been exercising while you've been "going at it". Also, the actually ejaculation is sympathetically driven so you have an outflow of the sympathetic nervous system (the fight or flight system). This leads to an increase in heart rate as well as many other things. Combined with the exertion, your body has ramped up its metabolism creating more carbon dioxide which leads you to breath faster to blow it all off. haha, I'm such a dork.

It was once refered to as the "little death" (don't know exact reason. perhaps because something was leaving the body - think blessing after a sneeze). And, as has been said, one's heart rate increases so one breathes harder. And the total relaxation afterwards can be soooo nice.

Felt nothing like Bungee jumping. Bungee jumping u felt dizzy because of the height.

well I havent felt dizzy on a single one of my jumps, it was nothing to do with the height, I get a huge adrenalin high, muscles tingle, breathe gets short and then when I am on the ground legs go to jelly and deep calming breathes are needed to regain control
