because its music and music expresses the feelings of a person more than anything else. and its more the band members that define a fashion style in a genre. like the beatles, or nirvana with that grunge shit, and glam rock which drag queens still perfer to dress like.

I went to gay night at a club a couple of weeks ago and had one my friends put eyeliner on me and kind of spiked my hair. I definitely don't think I looked unattractive lol. That's as far as I go though...I think.
 
I got out of the shower last week and started brushing it to look emo and it was kind of hot...
 
Your next door-kinda-cute guy does it for me.

Make up, died hair, polished nails and all that comes in package is more of a turn off for me than anything else...So, yeah, I'd rather pass on those guys...
