Extremely disappointing: Lady in The Water

I just saw it, and that was so so boring, full of nonsense.

I'm wondering is it because the movie is really bad or that I have a problem with my IQ.

This guy, M. Night Shyamalan, just look at his recently movies, signs, Village and this water lady, have you found anything in common? They all seem to have some kind of big, complex, suspenseful plots inside, but later all turn out to be absolute nothing or sth totally stupid and ridiculous. And he really like to show his face in his movies, how appalling!

I swear I'll never see his movie again. But I will see a Scary Movie 5 which is very likely to make fun of his movies.

BTW, just learned that Lady in the Water was nominated as worst picture by the Razzie® Award.

I liked Lady in the Water. I had heard enought o not expect it to be a suspense movie. I just appreciated it as a semi-fairy tale and I found that interesting. I like it when modern people are grouped and become the archetypes of legend.

I really liked it too. It's got a new-age whimsical feel to it.

The twists and subtle humor is all of his movies is really interesting. I also think it's cool how in every movie he's got at least a cameo appearance (although in Lady in the Water, he's got a main role).

I think it's one of those movies that you just need to see more than once. You may catch hidden things that really open up new realizations.

Well I liked how skeptical the main character was.
"Hmmm, I found a naked woman in the pool. She's acting kind of like Anne Heche. Should I call the cops....No wait! The old asian woman told me she's a water fairy, It must be true!"

Well, I didn't like Punch Drunk Love until I saw it again and finally understood it.

I'm a fan of the man's work, and I enjoyed Lady in the Water. It's a neat little fairy tale, and it has fairy tale logic. I can live with that.

Signs is a good flick until you find out about the alien reaction to water. They're too stupid to realize they're invading a planet loaded with it, so the movie falls apart and collapses. I have a hard time watching it now.

The Village is a good flick until you hit the "twist" and realize the movie should've been thirty minutes shorter and had a Rod Serling introduction.

Lady in the Water doesn't flub because it's not dealing in reality from the start. I can live with that.

Ive liked all of his movie but they have just gone down hill since The Sixth Sense.

I hated hated hated The Village and did not want to go see this movie at all, but since it was my best friends birthday he got to pick and I had no choice but to see it. I went in ready for a nap but ended up actually loving it. So maybe people just had really high expectations. I thought it was funny and intriguing.
